EAST BOULEVARD TINTED CONCRETE TO REMAIN REMOVE TINTED CONCRETE NEW CLAY BRICK WALKS IN GOLDEN COLOR RESTORE SANDSTONE STAR PLAZA. REMOVE CUT OUTS FOR MORE GATHERING SPACE. The plaza has lovely bones - but it needs more than a quick patch up. Problems in the fountain, a variety of paving repairs over the years, and declining or overgrown plantings are all adding to the feeling that the garden has seen better days. These are all fixable - and it won t be long before this gem shines again. REDO PLANTING AROUND FOUNTAIN IN BLUE AND WHITE COLORS REPAIR FOUNTAIN AND ADD NEW SHUTOFF REMOVE DECLINING SHRUBS A large percentage of the stone is still in very good condition. We would pull it up, put down a new concrete base, and then reinstall the good stone, cutting or redressing it as necessary. The concrete base will keep the stone level for many years. The small beds inside the points of the star are difficult to maintain and limit the size of gatherings, so we would fill them in with stone. Magen David Plaza Renovation
EAST BOULEVARD TINTED CONCRETE TO REMAIN Brick Pavers on the walkways help highlight the star shape of the plaza, and allow us to salvage the stone from the walkways for the plaza repairs. The color was inspired by the golden color of Jerusalem Limestone, and will brighten up the shady garden. It also compliments the color of the fountain RESTORE SANDSTONE STAR PLAZA.
