Page 1 Important Conference Information Conference and Workshop Venues All workshops, lectures and the Welcome Reception take place at the Reitoria da Universidade do Porto, Praça Gomes Teixeira, 4099-002 Porto Declaration of the Porto Conference The SiS Catalyst Declarations shall reflect the societal relevance of our approach: changes in external demands, conditions, policies etc. will be taken into consideration within refined versions of the declaration during four conferences between 2011-2014. As project vision this shall trigger external change in society. We call on you to play an active part in the development of the New Technologies Opportunities and Challenges for Science in Society Activities Declaration of Porto. You will find a a draft version in your conference portfolio. Comments and additions are very welcome under www.eucu.net/declaration. Dinner and City Tours There will be a bus shuttle to the Conference Dinners on Thursday and Friday. Meeting Point for the dinner shuttle and for the City Tours is likewise in front of the Reitoria da Univesidade do Porto, Praça Gomes Teixeira, 4099-002 Porto. Please note that Saturday, the 1 st December is a holiday in Portugal.
