1 - GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Product Description for Equipment under Test (EUT) The Fujian Juston Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd., product, the "EUT" as referred to in this report is Digital Two Way Radio DMR. The test model is HYDX-D50 and the multiple is HYDX-D52,D56,D58. 1.2 Objective The following Declaration of Conformity of a device is prepared on behalf of Fujian Juston Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd.. In accordance with EN 60529:1991+A1:2000+A2:2013, Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP code). The objective of the manufacturer is to demonstrate compliance with EN 60529: 1991 + A1:2000+A2:2013. Currently, EN 60529:1991+A1:2000+A2:2013 tests to be performed. They are as follows: -Test for protection against solid foreign objects and for protection against spraying and splashing water (IP66) (CLAUSE 13.4+13.6 and CLAUSE 14.2.6) Data has been collected, reduced, and analyzed within this report in accordance with EN 60529:1991+ A1:2000+A2:2013. 2- Dust test for first characteristics numerals 6 (IP6X) (CLAUSE 13.4+13.6) 2.1 Method Test device to verify protection against solid foreign objects like the follow figure. 1) The test is made using a dust chamber incorporating the basic principle shown in the following figure; 2) The enclosure under test is supported inside the test chamber and the pressure inside the enclosure is maintained below the surrounding atmospheric pressure by a vacuum pump. The suction connection shall be made to a hole specially provided for this test; 3) The extraction rate is about 60 times volumes of the sample enclosure per hour and the depression of the manometer is less than 2kPa; 4) The test duration is 2 hours. 2.2 Results (x) No talcum powder accumulated in a quantity or location that could interfere with the correct operation of the equipment or impair safety; (x) No deposit of dust could lead to tracking along the creepage distances. 3- Test for protection against water characteristics numerals 6(IPX6) (CLAUSE 14.2.6) 3.1 Method Test device to verify protection against splashing water jets (hose nozzle) like the follow figure. 1) Internal diameter of the nozzle: 12,5mm; 2) Delivery rate: 100 l/min +/-5%; 3) Water pressure: to be adjusted to achieve the specified delivery rate; 4) Core of the substantial stream: circle of approximately 120 mm diameter at 2.5 m distance from nozzle; 5) Test duration per square meter of enclosure surface area likely to be sprayed: 1 min; 6) Minimum test duration: 3 min; 7) Distance from nozzle to enclosure surface: between 2,5mm and 3 m. 3.2 Results (x) After the test, the sample can work properly, no safety hazard. (x) Some water has entered, but not deposit on insulation parts where it could lead to tracking along the creepage distance.
