Chairman s Report for the TC on NEC CMP 2 Signature: 1) Date(s) and location of meeting: CMP-2 met from January 19-23, 2015 at the Sonesta Hilton Head Island, SC Task Groups 1, 2 & 3 met on Sunday, January 18, 2015 and the full panel met from Monday, January 19 Friday, January 23, 2015. 2) List names of guests in attendance: Please see attached attendance sheet. 3) List names of guests addressing the Panel/TC, the subject of their address, and the length of time they spoke: January 20, 2015: Joe Andrade receptacle outlets in meeting rooms. This presentation was regarding Public Input 2872. Mr. Andrade spoke for 5 minutes and there was an additional 5 minutes for questions from the panel members for a total of 10 minutes. January 21, 2015: Nehad El-Sherif provided relevant information on his Public Inputs, 2192, 2193 and 2194 regarding newly identified GFCI class of devices in UL943C. Mr. El-Sherif spoke for 12 minutes and there was an additional 15 minutes of questions from the panel members. The total time was 27 minutes. Robert Simon behalf of the AFCI Consortium. Mr. Simon provided relevant information addressing the Public Inputs submitted by the Consortium and others regarding the installation of AFCI devices. Mr. Simon spoke for 11 minutes and there were no questions from the Panel Members. Frederick Hartwell provided relevant information regarding questions on his Public Inputs 3415 regarding AFCI protection, 2546 and 2548 regarding fixed cabinets and 3605 regarding peninsula countertops. Mr. Hartwell spoke for no more than 15 minutes overall.

Table 210.3 (Former Table 210.2) TG: To be established with a scope of reviewing and preparing comments to update Table 210.3 as necessary. 7) List any request contained in a Responses or Statement that require NEC Correlating Committee attention: 8) List any Public Inputs or First Revisions, in your opinion, that needs to be referred to another TC for information or correlation: CMP-2 evaluated the PIs proposed for appliances moved to Article 422 and for new appliance requirements. The following FRs and PIs are related to appliances being relocated or other PIs for new appliance requirements.
