DELIVERING CRITICAL MEASUREMENTS Nuclear Qualified Weed Model N9013 Surface Mount Thermocouple Strap-on Mounting Thermocouple Types: J, K, T and E IEEE 323-1974 & 1983, IEEE 344-1975 & 1987 and NUREG 0588 Qualified Easy Installation & Removal Available for Non-safety Related Applications Nuclear Sensors & Process Instrumentation
Weed Model N9013 Surface Mount Thermocouple Ultra Electronics, Nuclear Sensors & Process Instrumentation s (NSPI) Model N9013 thermocouple strap-on temperature sensor is very convenient for the measurement of surface temperatures of tanks, pipes, motors, bearings, and various other surface mount applications. The easy strap-on installation method makes it very cost effective to use the Model N9013 for temporary, semipermanent or permanent temperature measurements. The N9013 has been environmentally and seismically qualified for use in 1E applications in nuclear power generating stations. The N9013 can be ordered as non-safety related, offering the same reliability and construction as the safety related version but at a much lower cost. NSPI thermocouples are supplied in accordance with NSPI s Quality Assurance Program which is ISO 9001 Registered. The program is also in compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B, ANSI N45.2 and ASME NQA-1. Application assistance is available for special applications and design requirements. Assistance includes physical configuration requirements such as leadwire length, quick disconnects and other physical details. Actual installation details can affect measurement accuracy and response time. Such things as thermocouple contact with the surface, surface cleanliness and isolation from ambient temperatures may cause variations in accuracy and response times. For the best performance consult NSPI for application assistance. 2
