In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the radiator. Do not cover means that the radiator must not be used for drying cothes, for exampe, by pacing them directy on the radiator. Make sure to adhere to vaid safety reguations. Any repairs or maintenance within the warranty period shoud be carried out ony by approved service engineers confirmed by Eectrorad UK Ltd. For the correct instaation of radiators it is essentia that the fixing of the radiator is carried out in such a way that it is suitabe for intended use AND predictabe misuse. A number of eements need to be taken into consideration incuding the fixing method used to secure the radiator to the wa, the type and condition of the wa itsef, and any additiona potentia forces or weights, prior to finaising instaation. IN ALL CASES IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT A SUITABLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER OR SIMILAR TRADESPERSON CARRIES OUT THE INSTALLATION. The radiator conforms to the standards EN 60 335-1 and EN 60 335-2-30. The radiator is cass 1 and spash resistant (IP44). manufacturer or his approved agent. A instaation work and wiring work reated to the radiators, thermostats and programmers must be carried out ony when de-energized. The appiance shoud be commissioned by quaified professionas ony. The radiator is equipped with an overheat protection that cannot be reset (met fuse). This overheat protection disconnects the current if the radiator becomes too hot (e.g. when covered). POSITIONING The radiator must be positioned horizontay, the right way up on the wa in order for it to function correcty. Never switch the radiator on in any other position as this wi damage the eectrica eement. The radiator must be positioned according to the appicabe standards and the minimum distances as specified in figure 1 shoud be carefuy observed. The radiator must be connected to the eectrica suppy, using a switched fused spur with 3mm separation on a poes. If the radiator is instaed in a bathroom or shower room, it must be protected with a residua current device (RCD) with a rated residua current not exceeding 30 ma. 4.0 Maintenance, Repair & Disposa Optiona Extra Radio Frequency Programmer Eectrorad Digi-Line radiators can be used as a stand aone radiator. The radiator has a buit in radio frequency receiver which can be used with a RF Programmer. Pease ask for more detais. Pease refer to the RF Programmer instructions for use. FIXING Mark out the distance between the brackets and the positions for the screw hoes as shown in figure 2 and the dimension tabes at the top of page 7, and ensure the safety cips are used (see figure 3). When scrapping the radiator, foow the reguations concerning the disposa of oi.

By returning the product, you wi hep to prevent 6.0 Warranty The product is covered by a 10 years warranty except for the eectrica and eectronic components that are covered by a 2 years warranty. 7.0 Operating Instructions The eectronic thermostat has an LCD dispay speciay designed for the reguation of the eectrica radiator. It wi optimize energy consumption and increase comfort eves. possibe negative effects on the environment and heath to which the product can contribute if it is disposed of as ordinary domestic waste. For information about recycing and coection faciities, you shoud contact your oca authority/municipaity or refuse coection service or the business from which you purchased the product. Appicabe to countries where this Directive has been adopted. Features: Dispay with backight Wireess Radio Frequency programmer option (see separate instructions) Timed override function. Note: The radiator has a soft start feature buit into the contro software such that fu power is not appied at power up, whether it is the first time the radiator is switched on or whenever the radiator oses power by switching it off. The software graduay increases power from zero to fu power over a 20 minute period. 8.0 Working Mode Definition How to change the working mode: Use the navigation keys eft (<) or right (>) to dispay the working mode ine. Keys: < = Left Navigation Key > = Right Navigation Key + = Pus Key - = Minus Key OK = Vaidation Key Move the frame cursor on the desired working mode and press (OK) to enter in the operating mode you have chosen. 8.1 Manua Comfort Mode Manua working mode, the comfort setting temperature wi be foowed a the time. By pressing the (+) or (-) keys, the comfort setting temperature starts to bink and can be adjusted. This temperature wi aso be used when foowing the weeky schedue on the programmer (if appicabe). 7.1 Dispay 8.2 Manua Reduced Mode 8.3 Frost Protection Mode 1. By pressing (+) or (-) keys, the reduced setting temperature starts to bink and can be adjusted. The reduced temperature is intended to be used during the night or for short periods of time when not in the room/property. This temperature wi aso be used when foowing the weeky schedue on the programmer (if appicabe). Use this mode if you want to protect your system against freezing when eaving the property for extended periods. The frost protection setting temperature is fixed and can be adjusted in the parameter menu number 05 F, see section 10 (defaut vaue 7 C).

10 Eectrorad Digi-Line Eectrorad Digi-Line 11 8.4 Standby Mode 8.5 Automatic Mode 8.8 Power Settings In this mode the radiator is switched off. The radiator wi no onger receive signas from the radio frequency programmer (if appicabe). At any time, press any key to view the measured room temperature. Attention: In this mode, your radiators may freeze in very cod weather. Pease be aware, if there is no heating in your property then your pipes coud freeze. For protection of the product and property in very ow temperatures, we recommend the frost protection mode is used. This mode is ony to be used when paired to the timings/settings of the radio frequency programmer (if appicabe). To set the power of the front heating pane choose between: When considering the permanent use of the radiator at 60 C or 75 C maximum, the correction factor from the tabe (right) shoud be appied for the output. E.g. A 1000 Watt singe pane programmed for a maximum surface temperature of 75 C wi deiver maximum 700 Watts. A 1000 Watt doube pane programmed for a maximum surface temperature of 60 C wi deiver maximum 800 Watts. These vaues shoud be considered when seecting the number and type of panes to cover the cacuated heat osses. Setting* Surface Temperature Singe Pane Doube Pane 1 60 C Max ~0.55 ~0.80 2 75 C Max ~0.70 ~0.90 3 90 C Max 1 1 *Pease refer to Section 7.1 Dispay, point 2 as to where this wi be shown on the dispay. 8.9 Sensor Pease Note: The thermostat sensor is ocated at the bottom of the radiator and wi ony read the room temperature and not the actua temperature from the radiator. 8.6 Wireess Programmer 9.0 Key Lock Function If a Wireess cock is paired, the thermostat wi foow the set programme. A Wireess cock signa wi be shown by the fashing symbo. The thermostat wi foow the comfort temperature vaue. The thermostat wi foow the reduced temperature vaue previousy set. The thermostat wi foow the frost protection setting temperature (adjustabe in the parameter s menu N 05). The thermostat is turned OFF. Carefu: In this mode your instaation can freeze. Use this function to prevent any changes of the settings (in a chids room, pubic area etc.). To activate the Key Lock function, first press and maintain the vaidation key (OK) and then press simutaneousy on the eft key (<). The ogo wi be dispayed on the screen. Repeat the same procedure to unock the keyboard. Note: The Key Lock function is avaiabe in a operating modes. The Timer mode aows the set temperature and heating period to be adjusted for a specific time. This function shoud ony be used to override the programmed settings. 8.7 Timed Override Mode First adjust the desired setting temperature with (+) or (-). Press (OK) to start the function (defaut vaue 22 C). Then, adjust the duration in hours H if beow 24H, then in day D with (+) or (-). Press (OK) to vaidate (adjustabe 1 Hour to 44 days). The ogo wi bink and the number of hours /days eft is dispayed unti the end of the period. To stop the Timer function before the end, set the duration period to no with the (-) key. 10.0 Parameter s Menu Your thermostat has a parameter s menu. In order to enter this menu, press and hod the vaidation key (OK) for 5 seconds. Then the parameter menu wi appear and the first menu screen wi be dispayed (see opposite). Parameters can be seected using the navigation keys (<) or (>). Once the parameter is chosen, togge the vaue with the (OK) key, modify it with (+) or (-) and confirm your adjustment with (OK). To eave the parameter menu, choose the parameter «End» and press (OK).

Seect with (+) or (-) the radio communication type and vaidate by pressing OK: - rf.un: unidirectiona communication, the digita thermostat ony receives orders from a 4 zone radio frequency programmer. - rf.bi: bidirectiona communication with the Graphic cock. The digita thermostat returns state and power consumptions to the Graphic cock (This feature is currenty unavaiabe. A new programmer wi become avaiabe in the near future). Then the backight goes out and the digits - - - wi be cycing showing that the digita thermostat is waiting for a radio ink signa from the programmer to be sent (press < to cance this radio initiaization). When the radio ink signa is received, the pairing is saved and the backight ights up. It wi then return to menu seection (rf i). 01 deg: Degrees dispayed Press OK to enter this parameter. Seect with (+) or (-) and vaidate by pressing OK: C Cesius F Fahrenheit 04._: Caibration of the interna probe The caibration must be done after 1 day working with the same set temperature in accordance with the foowing description: Put a thermometer in the room at the same height as the programmer and check the rea temperature in the room after 1 hour. When you enter in the caibration parameter the actua vaue is dispayed. To enter the vaue shown on the thermometer, use the (+) or (-) keys to enter the rea vaue. Then, press (OK) to confirm. The ogo shoud be dispayed, to inform that a caibration is now made and saved in the memory. If you need to erase a caibration aready made press on the navigation key eft (<). Then the ogo must disappear. 05 af: Frost protection temperature: This Anti-freeze temperature shoud be used in Hoiday mode. Adjustabe 0.5 to 10.0 C with defaut vaue 7.0 C. 08 Src: inteigent front/back doube reguation Press OK to enter this parameter. Seect with (+) or (-) and vaidate by pressing OK NO : doube reguation function disabed (Front=Back) YES : inteigent reguation function enabed. Ony the Front heating eement wi reguate around the set point. Thus, the Back heating eement wi activate if temperature is one degree beow the set point, acting as a booster. 09 Cr: Factory setting Press and hod (OK) key for 10 seconds to reset Set points temperatures and user parameters in this menu to factory defaut settings. 10 Software version xx.x 11 SL Save mode Set this function to no for norma operation. 12 End: Exit the parameter s menu Press (OK) key to exit the instaation parameter menu and return to norma operation. Pease Note: Ony the heating eement managed by the thermostat must be used during the compete step of the caibration. Do not have a secondary heat source in the same room for a period of 24hrs before.
