The Glasdon Jubilee Bin will help local authorities achieve improved grades as it has been designed with anti-littering, anti-graffiti, anti-fly posting and anti-staining benefits. The chamfered apertures and domed hood of the bin will help reduce littering and the cigarette stubber plate will help to reduce smoking related litter. Unique Locking Mechanism with a 3 Point Interlocking Door Glasdon Jubilee Litter Bin is available as a keyed or keyless model. It is easy to use, with a slam lock operation. A unique lift and lock mechanism engages the door with the bin body at three separate points, to provide a highly secure, vandal resistant locking system. The door rises and self returns to the locked position, therefore will not accidentally fall open after the operator closes it. Locks are corrosion-free as they do not incorporate any metal components. Keyed Model Keyless Model 1. Turn key 2. Lift the door 3. Swing open to remove liner 1. Lift foot pedal 2. Lift the door then slam shut to lock. Recessed Lifting Handle The recessed lifting handle is at an operator friendly height and is suitable for use with a gloved hand. To open the secure keyed model, simply turn the key and use the recessed lifting handle to lift the door. Durable Construction 3. Swing open to remove liner then slam shut to lock. Foot Activated Keyless Model Unique to Glasdon, the operator friendly foot pedal can be used to lift open the door, for ease and speed of use. The Glasdon Jubilee Bin is manufactured in self-coloured Durapol material. Durapol is weather and vandal resistant, will not chip or rust and never needs painting. Deters Fly-Posting and Graffiti Integrally moulded ridges discourage the adherence of posters and graffiti. The ridges will allow air and water to get behind the poster and compromise the adhesive, should a poster be attached to the bin. The textured finish with identifiable graphics aid cigarette stubbing and encourage use. Domed to prevent litter and cigarettes being left on top of the unit. Available in Gold or Gun Metal Grey. 4 Concealed Knuckle Hinge Strong and durable with a flush external finish. Extremely Robust Double Skinned Door The vandal resistant door moulding is exceptionally strong and robust. The large door-opening design allows easy access to the liner and ground fixings. Contains no metal components, so will not rust.

Chamfered Apertures with Extended Ledges The aperture shelves are chamfered to prevent litter being left on the bin surfaces and falling onto the surrounding area. The aperture ledges extend over the liner, which ensures litter always enters the liner and prevents spillage between the liner and the bin. Recessed Traditional Litter Legend (x4) Easily identifiable, with a traditional appearance. Recessed to prevent vandalism. 20mm Banding Recess (x2) Gold or Silver decorative bands add to the attractive appearance of the bin and allow for co-ordination with existing street furniture. Recessed to prevent vandalism. Domed Ashtray A 1 litre capacity hood mounted ashtray, with the unique Glasdon Quick-Release emptying mechanism. The ashtray is textured with clear graphics to aid cigarette stubbing and encourage use. Offers extra protection to the hood of the bin and prevents cigarettes and litter being left on top of the unit. Available in Gold or Gun Metal Grey. Sack Retention An elastic sack retention belt securely holds the sack inside the steel liner. Easy and quick to use. Aperture Stubber Plates Add further protection to the bin. The stubber plates feature identifiable graphics and a textured finish for ease of cigarette stubbing, to encourage use and deter littering. Available in Gold or Gun Metal Grey. PErSONAlISATION OPTIONS 110 Litre Steel Liner The large capacity liner reduces the need for frequent emptying, and incorporates operator friendly handles for ease of use. A5 Personalisation A4 Poster Kit Removable Base Tray Enables easy cleaning and prevents leakage and staining around the bin. (Also hides the bait box area when required for pest control.) An A5-sized personalisation area is provided on all four faces of the bin to display a vinyl sticker or polycarbonate plaque containing your logo, crest or message. This area is recessed to prevent vandalism. The Glasdon Jubilee litter bin can also be supplied with a polycarbonate poster frame which will hold A4 laminated posters (visible display area: 277 x 190mm). As posters can be easily changed from inside the bin, this is a cost-effective way of promoting the latest sponsorship opportunities and local authority messages. 5
