Setting the Time and Date Note. Summer/Winter time automatically updated. 1. Turn the Control Knob to the TIME/DATE position 2. Press the and keys to change the Hours to the current time and to enter press the OK key 3. Press the and keys to change the Minutes to the current time and to enter press the OK key 4. Press the and keys to change the Year to the current year and to enter press the OK key 5. Press the and keys to change the Month to the current month and to enter press the OK key (note, January = 1) 6. Press the and keys to change the Day of the Month to the current day of the month and to enter press the OK Key 7. Turn the Control Knob to the required operating condition: RUN, Cont On or Cont Off 5
Setting the program 1. Turn the Control Knob to the PROGRAM position 2. Press the and keys to change the Hours figure for Monday s 1st On Time and to enter press the OK key 3. Press the and keys to change the Minutes figure for Monday s 1st On Time and to enter press the OK key 4. Press the and keys to change the Hours figure for Monday s 1st Off Time and to enter press the OK key 5. Press the and keys to change the Minutes figure for Monday s 1st Off Time and to enter press the OK key 6. If you do not wish to set any further times for Monday press the Next Day Key (and move to point 10). Otherwise, press the and keys to change the Hours figure for Monday s 2nd On Time and to enter press the OK key cont... 6
7. Press the and keys to change the Minutes figure for Monday s 2nd On Time and to enter press the OK key 8. Press the and keys to change the Hours figure for Monday s 2nd Off Time and to enter press the OK key 9. Press the and keys to change the Minutes figure for Monday s 2nd Off Time and to enter press the OK key Note. If you would like to set a 3rd On period then continue programming in the same manner. Otherwise press the Next Day key. 10. If you would like to have the same On and Off times for Tuesday as for Monday then press the Copy key and then the OK key. To move to Wednesday press the Next Day key, continuing in the same manner. If you would like to have different times for Tuesday, then enter them in the same manner as for Monday. When programming for Sunday is complete turn the Control Knob to the RUN position to activate the program. 11. Turn the Control Knob to the required operating condition: RUN, Cont On or Cont Off 7

Setting + Hours Note. Use of the + Hours function will ensure the boiler operates continuously for up to 3 hours. If used during an off period, the boiler will then operate for up to 3 hours. If used during an on period less than 3 hours prior to an off period, it can extend the on time. 1. Turn the Control Knob to the + HOURS position 2. Press the and keys to set the required + Hours time and to enter press the OK key 3. Turn the Control Knob to the required operating condition: RUN, or CONT OFF 9
ADVANCED FEATURES A. HOLIDAY MODE 1. Press the key for more than 3 seconds 2. Press the and keys to change the Year to the year the holiday will start in and to enter press the OK key 3. Press the and keys to change the Month to the month the holiday will start (note, January = 1) and to enter press the OK key 4. Press the and keys to change the Day of the Month to the day of the month the holiday will start and to enter press the OK key 5. Press the and keys to set the length of the holiday and to enter press the OK key To delete a previously set holiday period, change the number of days to 0 10
ADVANCED FEATURES B. TIMED PRE-HEAT When Domestic Hot Water preheat is switched on at the boiler control the boiler will preheat during the timed on central heating periods so as to provide more efficient water delivery. This function is disabled when the preheat switch is set to off. C. RTC (Real Time Clock) Backup The electronic timer has a Real Time Clock which has a backup supply to maintain the date and time for when power is removed from the boiler. When power has been removed for more than 3 hours and is restored, it will be necessary to enter the date and time again but the programmed periods will have been retained. 11
