Wiser Air User Interface Guide Thermostat

2 User Guide Wiser Air Scope This document outlines the user interface features of the Wiser Air smart thermostat. It is intended to support individual users and technical specialists alike. HMI Display Upon creation of your Wiser Air account, in the app or on the website, you will be prompted to use Eco IQ. If you don t want to use the Eco IQ option, Wiser Air will revert to the standard mode interface. The following image reflects the functions available to the user on the main screen (in standard mode). Displays the menu options available Auto 6:47 AM Current weather and outside temperature. Weather service provided by Schneider Electric. Not available in all areas. 75 INSIDE TEMP 72 Inside temperature control Now, 78 Next, Home at 8:30 AM Brings up the display of the Home, Sleep and Away Ready Modes Brings up the Override Schedule, which lists the timing of Ready Mode changes performed by Wiser Air Principal function of this screen: 1. Tap the round icon button on the left to select one of the three Ready Modes (Home, Away or Sleep) used for the temperature control. 2. The Next button on the right allows you to set and disable the automated schedule. The automated schedule can be configured from the mobile app or by signing on to the Wiser Air web page (https://home.wiserair.com). Here you may set the ready modes Home, Away, Sleep for each day of the week, the weekdays or the weekend. 3. When Eco IQ is activated, the thermostat features on the bottom part of the screen are replaced by the Eco IQ status line.

User Guide Wiser Air 3 Using standard mode The left round icon button will give you quick access to settings for comfort or economy modes. Tap the icon and select the desired Ready Mode Using Eco IQ Eco IQ is Wiser Air s learning algorithm. It learns your heating and cooling preferences over time through direct feedback. Eco IQ challenges your perception of what an ideal temperature is by allowing you to define your comfort level by how warm or cold you are, rather than through a predetermined set point. Tap the UP arrow if you feel too cold Tap the DOWN arrow if you feel too warm

4 User Guide Wiser Air Menu Features Tap to see the available menu options Tap to open the Ready Modes menu Ready modes and Eco IQ Ready Modes > Home Away Sleep Eco IQ > Comfort Zone Lifestyle Each of these Ready Modes (or presets) is composed of a Cool and Heat setpoint for systems containing heating and cooling components. You can make changes to these setpoints by tapping each mode in the menu. Comfort Zone will set your comfort temperature when you press the up or down button of the Wiser Air interface. Lifestyle will adapt the Eco IQ learning to your desired type of saving and to your home.

User Guide Wiser Air 5 System Modes > System Mode Modes > Fan Mode Modes > Fan Mode> Fan Cycle Duration (per hour) Auxiliary / Emergency Heat Eco IQ Humidity Default: off Humidity> Dehumidification Humidity> Air exchanger You may manually select the mode for the thermostat from Off, Heat, Cool or Auto. When Auto mode is selected, Wiser Air will automatically switch from heating to cooling based on room temperature. The available fan modes are Auto, Cycle and On. Auto: Fan will turn on heating or cooling demand Cycle: Fan will run in timed cycles that can be selected in the below menu. On: Fan will always be on The fan cycles duration options are 15 min. / 30 min. / 45 min. These options are enabled only when Cycle fan mode is selected in the above menu. When the emergency heat is on, the auxiliary heat is enabled by default. Note: Auxiliary heat will only be used if the outside temperature is lower than the minimum outside temperature preset of 14 F. On / Off ECO-IQ is an algorithm implemented in Wiser Air to boost energy savings. When activated, Wiser Air will adapt to the usage and behavior of the owner and control the system automatically to improve efficiency. System / Modes / Dehumidification When the humidity parameter is enabled, the setpoint may be configured via the System - Humidity - Humidity Limits menu. Partial dehumidification If enabled, and humidity becomes higher than the setpoint, Wiser Air will supply air 1 degree lower than the setpoint. Refer to the Air exchanger section below When configured, if outdoor air humidity is lower than indoor humidity, Wiser Air will use the air exchanger to dehumidify indoors, When using the setup Wizard, selecting the W2 terminal will enable the control of an existing Dehumidifier or Air exchanger.
