Toilet rooms are in a good state of repair. Surfaces and floors are visibly clean. The toilet, sink and hand rails are visibly clean Hand washing facilities are available including liquid soap and paper towels A foot operated appropriate waste disposal bin is available (tiger stripe) Raised toilet seats / commodes are clean and in a good state of repair (check underside). CLEAN ROOMS/DRUG PREPARATION ROOMS The rooms are in a good state of repair. Surfaces and floors are visibly clean. There is an identified clean storage area for clean and sterile items. (Check inside cupboards, shelving and drawers). The rooms are free from inappropriate items. Hand hygiene facilities are available. Pharmaceutical fridge is clean and free from inappropriate items. A good supply of equipment and materials is available Mops and buckets are stored according to the local policy. (inverted on shelves).
