Path into a green future Natural cooling in the food and retail industry Thursday, June 23 rd, 2016 13:30 17:30 Friday, June 24 th, 2016 09:30 15:00 Klostergut Paradies, Klostergutstrasse 4 CH-8252 Schlatt (near Zurich)
Dear symposium participants, Natural refrigerants have been used for refrigeration and cooling in the food and retail industry for a long time already. Considering current international regulations, the use of climate-friendly refrigerants is becoming increasingly relevant. Especially with regard to climate protection and energy efficiency, natural refrigerants are the ideal alternative to climate-damaging and thus restricted F-Gases. Natural refrigerants such as ammonia, hydrocarbons and CO 2 are suitable for a wide range of applications. This years eurammon symposium highlights current trends and developments in the sector of supermarket refrigeration and the retail industry, including the complete supply chain. Internationally renowned experts give an overview about important regulations and present future-oriented projects using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO 2. Furthermore, operators report about their practical experiences with applications of the newest generation running on natural refrigerants. Moreover, we want to discuss the future of applications with natural refrigerants in the food and retail industry in an interactive workshop and collaboratively work out ideas and concepts. We hope you will enjoy attending the symposium and have great pleasure in sharing your own experience directly with participants and experts.
