These changes increase the pressure differential across the venting mechanism with the separator. They also capture ejected by the separator mechanism and return it to the at the top of the storage tank, thus helping maintain a more consistent pressurization within the system. All revised drawings show an return from the outlet of the DISCAL Air Separator to a fitting at the top of the storage tank. Caleffi has adapter fittings available to transition from the outlet threads of the DISCAL Air Separators (Model 551) to ¼-inch NPT threads. The return tubing could be ¼-inch copper or other tubing suitable for the temperature and pressure ratings of the system. The drawings shown on the pages that follow replace those shown in the original schematics in idronics Edition 6. If you have a printed copy of this edition, print this document (in color if possible), cut out each schematic and tape it in place over the original drawing. idronics Edition 6, Rev 1 is available for download on our website and includes all modifications. The following figures in idronics Edition 6 have been modified: 5-9, 5-10, 5-13, 5-14, 5-15 CALEFFI Creating innovative, superior performance products that help customers live comfortably and economically, while softening their impact on the environment. # # #
