If the system gives water temperatures of 90 o /70 o C then the factor is 2.17. The capacity will become 2.17x20.8 = 45.14kW. This amount of energy is usually not relevant! Installing a three-way valve the outlet temperature and the necessary amount of energy will be varied and optimally adjusted to the number of revolutions of the fans. www.versatile.ie 1

A 20m cable with integrally moulded plug (excess lengths available upon request) is included in delivery. > Dual Effect For energy saving reasons, a thermostatic 2-way or 3-way valve can be ordered as reasonable to keep the intake air temperature on an even level. Colum Effect 2000/3000/4000/5000 Product description This innovative air curtain installation with its compact, cylindrical shape has been specially developed for visible mounting, upright or hanging. Its preferred upright configuration offers the advantage of a heated air current of consistent velocity directly at floor level. Its pleasing design in conjunction with low-maintenance operation and invisible power connections (for upright versions) is a plus factor for architects, planners, building contractors and operators. The optionally galvanised RAL coloured powder coated covering or stainless steel version all blend in well with existing doors and doorways. Field of application This air curtain can be used at entrance and exit doors and revolving doors to prevent thermic mixing in summer and winter. Preferred application Standing upright right/left to doors or gates and at revolving doors to prevent the development of "cold spots"! Performance figures: When planning an installation for the Colum Effect 2000 model range, a blow-out or projection height of up to 2.5 m is indicated; for the Colum Effect 3000 range a height of up to 2.8 m; for the 4000 range up to 3.2 m and up to 3.6 m for the Colum Effect 5000 range. Detailed description A cylindrical self-supporting composite steel housing with two-part galvanised sheet steel cover with no visible screwed or riveted joints. Powder coated to RAL colour or in stainless steel version. Fine inlet screen and reusable filter that can be removed without tools for easy cleaning. Outlet screen with aluminium vanes (teardrop profile), depending on model in double or multiple versions for infinitely adjustable rectified air stream. Ceiling fixing via 8 mm captive bolts (e.g. with LSA ceiling mounting kit). Upright installation via tapped holes in the base plate and with recess for hidden power connections (for PWW / electrical). High-efficiency aluminium/copper heat exchangers (PWW) or finned tube heat exchangers (electrical) with easy to service, stable ribs and rib spacing. Double inlet, direct drive shock-mounted centrifugal fans, motor protected by thermal contact and electronic speed control. Fully assembled and wired. Delivery includes an electronic control Tronic D 5 for PWW, Tronic E for an electrical heater or Tronic M, all with a wide variety of adjustment options. This warm air stream is heating the inside air down to the bottom and shields it from cold outside air. The duct with the aluminium blow-out vanes matches the door radius. > Rondell Technical Description Revolving doors and air curtains seem to be contradictory but in practice this proofs to be an excellent combination. The use of a revolving door inside a building prevents draught. With no direct connection between inside and outside air, optimal inside climatic conditions are achieved. When the door revolves, cold air is entrained with the door wing and the difference in temperature between outside and inside air results in a cold zone directly behind the door. For heating the incoming air, an air curtain is to be installed directly behind or inside the revolving door which leads to pleasurable climatic conditions in the entrance area. By using a temperature control, both an optimum result and low energy consumption is achieved.
