Promenade between Elorrieta and Idom (right river bank of the canal) Pedestrian area: 520m long and 10m wide. Includes a pipe of 1,5 m of diameter and 350 m long to gather rain water while the tide is up

Actual situation of the river bank

San Ignacio square Idom Engineering Company Playground New bridge

San Ignacio square (section) Covered playground

Promenade in Ibarrekolanda (right river bank of the canal, middle part) A promenade of 20 m wide will be built along the river bank. It will be divided in two different levels. The second level will be 1,5m over the other, to preserve the houses from floods. New trees will be planted in the upper level

Actual situation of the river bank

All the new buildings will be built at least 1,5 m over actual level of the island. Because of the length of the island (2,5 Km) and that all land is flat, a complex pumping system has been designed for the sewerage. To avoid the cross of the trash trucks along the island a pneumatic gathering system will be developed. Flood protection wall for the Downtown of the island (1 m high)

Rain water tanks (2.100 m 3 each) with pumping and cleaning systems. The rain water will be used to water the gardens and clean the streets, and will protect the Downtown when the tide is up
