The casing is internally insulated against sound and condensation. The fan has standard Veloduct inlet and outlet connections. Flexible connections are recommended to be used both at outlet and inlet. Impeller and motor The impeller is made of plastic and it has backward curved blades. The motor is a high efficiency EC-motor with integrated speed controller. Installation The fan can be installed directly into the duct system. Discharge direction can be changed by rotating the casing. Demand controlled ventilation EC-motor has an integrated speed controller and it fulfills the future Regulation for box fans. Speed can be controlled and optimized for current situation by using a 0-10 V control signal. The correction coefficients by octave bands can be read in the sound data table. The sound level by octave band to the outlet duct, inlet duct or surroundings (without A-weighting) can be obtained by using following formula, where Koct is read from the correct sound path.
