GRAND ROOM SETS SPONSORED BY
The GRAND ROOM SETS aim to inspire our visitors and encourage them to take home new ideas, information and supplier contacts. We are inviting pioneering interior stylists to come and bring their ideas to life at the show, using colour, materials, patterns to achieve some stunning spaces. This years theme is: Design By You The winner who creates the best room set for the show will be announced at GRANDDESIGNS London on the GRAND Theatre with the help of Daniel Hopwood and Sophie Robinson. THE OPPORTUNITY The aim is to dress the rooms with products which are easily accessible to all our visitors and are either in stock or online from current British retailers, manufacturers and designers. Working closely with Media 10 s PR team, we hope that the diverse range of entries will be of interest to the press and show visitors alike.
Design By You We are looking for rooms inspired by your personality and design style. Instead of rigidly following the latest trends or colour combinations we want to see what makes each designer tick. Every room can have many purposes and uses, unique to each designer and their needs. For instance, does your living room become your workspace or studio? What does your dining room table double up as? If you were designing your own Grand Design home, what spaces would you need? How would you personalise your surroundings? THE THEME We are excited to learn more about you and see how your personality unfolds into a design. The rooms should be interesting uses of space and unexpected colour combinations. Our audience should come away inspired by personal twists on design, rather than a rule book for 2018.
