Important Safety Instructions Thank you for purchasing the Ozeri Tabetop Air Circuator. This product has passed extensive quaity assurance tests for residentia use. Every care has been taken to ensure that it reaches you in perfect condition. Warning: When using eectric appiances, basic safety precautions shoud be foowed to reduce the risk of fire, eectric shock and persona injury, incuding (but not imited to) the foowing: Read a these instructions before attempting to operate this product and save these instructions for future reference: THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (ONE BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER). TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, THIS PLUG IS INTENED TO FIT IN A POLARIZED UTLET ONLY ONE WAY. MATCH THE WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO THE WIDE SLOT OF THE OUTLET. FULLY INSERT. IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT FULLY IN THE OUTLET, REVERSE THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT, CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BYPASS THIS SAFETY FEATURE. NOTE: THIS FAN IS EQUIPPED WITH A FUSE. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE FAN BEFORE REPLACING FUSES. IF THIS FAN LOSES POWER AND YOU SUSPECT THE FUSE IN THE PLUG HAS BLOWN, UNPLUG THE FAN, THEN SLIDE THE FUSE DOOR FOUND ON THE SIDE OF THE PLUG TO THE OPEN POSITION. SLIDE THE FUSE DOOR OUTWARD UNTIL THE BLOWN FUSE IS FULLY VISIBLE. REMOVE THE BLOWN FUSE AND SNAP THE REPLACEMENT FUSE INTO PLACE. FULLY CLOSE THE FUSE DOOR. ONLY REPLACE WITH A FUSE RATED AT 2.5 5 AMPS, 125 VOLTS. Use this fan ony as described in this manua. Check the votage indicated on the rating pate. This fan is designed for a 120V-60Hz eectric suppy. Make certain the power source conforms to these eectric requirements. Make sure the room where this fan wi be used has a working smoke detector. 2

Do not use an eectrica extension cord with this fan. Do not pug the fan into a power strip. The use of such devices may create eectric and/ or fire hazards. Do not force your fingers through the front case. Do not aow any foreign objects through the front case. This product is not a toy. Do not aow chidren to tamper with the fan. Be carefu not to aow hair, curtains, tabecoth, cothes or other nearby objects bock the airways of the fan or to enter the openings of the fan. This can cause damage and/or injuries. Do not use this or any fan if the cord is found to be or becomes damaged. Periodicay check the eectric cabe of this fan. If the eectric cabe is damaged, it must be repaced by the manufacturer, its aftersaes service or by a simiar quaified person in order to avoid danger. Do not use this fan if it fas and/or becomes damaged in any way. If the fan becomes damaged, it must be repaced by the manufacturer, its after-saes service or by a simiar quaified person in order to avoid danger. Do not use this fan outside, or in any commercia, industria or agricutura setting. This fan is ony for residentia use. Do not use this fan with any soid state speed contro devices. Do not use this fan in a damp area such as bathroom. Do not use this fan on a window, edge, or on any unstabe patform. The fan shoud ony be used standing on its base. Never ay the fan on its side. Do not use this fan next to a window or anywhere where exposure to rain or moisture is possibe. This may create an eectrica hazard. Do not pace the eectrica cord under any objects, such as carpets, throw rugs or runners. Do not pace eectrica cord in areas of foot traffic where there is a risk of stumbing or tripping over it. The fan must aways be unpugged when not in use. Before unpugging the fan, first ensure it has been turned off. Do not operate the fan in an area where gasoine, paint suppies or any fammabe iquids or exposive chemicas are used or stored. Do not try to repair or disassembe this fan. Doing so wi void the warranty and may resut in damage and/or persona injury. There are no end-user serviceabe parts. Remote contro devices for other appiances may interfere with this fan and vice-versa. If this occurs, move the fan to another ocation. This fan is not suitabe for use in agricutura faciities and hazardous ocations. This fan does not meet the requirements of NEC Artice 547-7 and 500 (2002). Keep this fan and a eectrica appiances out of reach from chidren at a times. 3

Pease ensure the fan if OFF (in the 0 position) and paced on a dry eve surface. 2. Pug the power cord into a poarized 120 vot AC wa outet. 3. Turn the knob on the front of the fan upwards for Osciation Mode, or downwards for Non-Osciation Mode. 4. The foowing are the air speeds for both Osciation and Non-Osciation Modes: a. 0 = Off c. 2 = Medium b. 1 = Low d. 3 = High 5. To turn the fan Off, move the knob back to the 0 position. Warning: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FORCE OR IMPEDE THE FAN S OSCILLATION. DOING SO WILL DAMAGE THE FAN AND VOID THE WARRANTY. IF WHEN TURNED OFF, THE FAN IS NOT IN ITS FLUSH POSITION, SIMPLY TURN THE FAN ON AND WAIT FOR IT TO RETURN TO ITS FLUSH POSITION, THEN TURN OFF. 4

Moderating Temperatures: The Ozeri Air Circuator can hep distribute cooer air from or near your air conditioner, and warmer air from or near your heater, by creating a vortex of air fow. Over time this can hep moderate temperatures and increase your cooing or warming efficiency, thereby owering your energy usage. IN THE SUMMER: To circuate coo air, position the fan near an open window exposed to cooer outside temperatures, or to an air conditioning unit. Since hot air rises, direct the coo air from the fan upstairs to force the cooer air into circuations. IN THE WINTER: To circuate warm air, pace the fan near a heat source and ange the fan upwards so that the air output from the fan is away from the heat source. If no heat source is avaiabe, simpy ange the fan to the ceiing to force the warmer air into circuation. 5

Adjusting the Vertica Ange: 1. In addition to the Osciating feature, the Ozeri Air Circuator can aso be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees verticay. 2. To adjust the vertica ange of airfow, first ensure that the fan is Off (knob shoud be pointed to the 0 position). 3. Genty hod the base down with one hand, and with the hand tit the fan upwards to your desired position. 4. Do avoid injury, do not attempt to adjust the vertica ange whie the fan is On. Wa Mounting: 1. Find and mark two circes on the wa where the fan wi be mounted. The circes need to be 4 ¾ apart from center to center. The circe size shoud be 3/8 in diameter. 2. Dri #8 screws into the wa (screws are not incuded). Use drywa anchors if a stud is not avaiabe. 3. Leave about 3/8 of each screw exposed. 4. Line up the opening at the base of the fan with the screws and hang the fan on the wa. WARNING: DO NOT HANG OR MOUNT THIS FAN ON CEILING. DO NOT OPERATING THIS FAN IN OSCILLATOIN MODE WHEN IT IS WALL- MOUNTED. 6

Ceaning: 1. Aways disconnect the cord from the eectrica outet before ceaning your fan. 2. Dust may be removed by using a vacuum ceaner aong the back of the fan where the pastic grie covers the air intake, and aong the front grie cover. A pipe ceaner or fexibe duster may aso be used. 3. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan occasionay with a damp coth (not dripping wet) and dry thoroughy with a soft dry coth before operating the fan. 4. Do not use harsh ceaners or materias to cean this unit, doing so wi cause damage. WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO RUN INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE FAN AS THIS COULD CREATE A FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD. Remova of Front Grie for Ceaning: Ensure the fan is unpugged, then carefuy ay the fan face down on a fat surface. Take off the front grie by removing the screws ocated on the rear of the fan. Lift the rear housing (pease use hande) to separate from the grie. Wipe the fan bades and the grie with a damp rag. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER AND NEVER ALLOW WATER TO DRIP INTO THE MOTOR HOUSING. DO NOT USE CHEMICALS LIKE PAINT THINNER OR GASOLINE TO CLEAN THE FAN OR BLADES. Reassembe by reaigning the screw hoes between the front grie and the rear housing. Carefuy insert and tighten the screws. To store the fan, cean it carefuy as instructed. Pace the fan in the origina packaging for storage or cover it to protect it from dust. Store in a coo dry pace. 7

WARRANTY INFORMATION Your Ozeri Air Circuator TM is warranted to the origina owner for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in materia and workmanship under norma use and service. Shoud your Ozeri Air Circuator prove defective within 1 year from the date of purchase, return the defective product, freight prepaid aong with an expanation of the caim to Ozeri. Pease pack your Ozeri Air Circuator carefuy to avoid damages in transit. Under this warranty, Ozeri wi repair or repace any parts found to be defective due to a manufacturer s defect. This warranty extends ony to persona use and does not extend to any product that has been used for commercia use, renta use, or use which is not intended. There are no warranties other than that expressy set forth herein. This warranty is not transferabe. Ozeri is not responsibe in any way for damages, osses or inconveniences caused by equipment faiure or by user negigence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the User Guide or any additiona safety, use, or warnings incuded in the product materias. Further, Ozeri is not iabe for incidenta or consequentia damages of any nature resuting from the use of this product and any iabiity sha not exceed the purchase price of the product.
