When the Deputy spoke to the reporting party they advised unsure if the vehicle had drove onto campus or drove onto the SB-125. With the assistance of deputies from the Santee Station, A.S.T.R.E.A. and an SDSO K-9 unit, the campus was checked to ensure the safety of staff and students. A.S.T.R.E.A. deputies observed a possible subject in a similar vehicle parked in Parking Lot 1 and the Child Development Center was placed into lock down for the safety of the children. Deputies determined the subject in Lot 1 was not the suspect described by the reporting party, no other campus buildings were advised to lock down, and the reported subject and vehicle were not located.
