FUNCTION The flow diverter valve Art.307 makes it possible to supply a branch circuit. Prepared to receive our electro-thermal controls Art. 978, 979, 980 or our thermostatic heads with remote sensor Art. 992, 995. The three-way mixing valve with thermostatic sensor with remote capillary Art. 323, allows to mix two fluids obtaining a third one with intermediate temperature. Adjustment range 20-50 C. The probe also works on contact. For immersion, combine sensor holder well Art. 212 or 189. Art. 307 The adjustment and mixing group Art. K063 has been designed for use in radiant panel systems, in combination with distribution manifolds. Its function is to maintain constant, at the set value, the flow temperature of the fluid distributed in a low temperature radiant panel system. The thermal regulation takes place by means of a three-way thermostatic valve, equipped with a thermostatic control with remote sensor. MIXING VALVE ADJUSTMENT The thermostatic control with remote sensor that is to be installed on the 3-way mixing valve is supplied with the "fixed point regulating unit". By adjusting the thermostatic control it is possible to set the temperature of the heat transfer fluid that circulates within the low temperature circuit of the radiant panels. The thermostatic control has an adjustment range that goes from 20 to 50 C, it is advisable to set a temperature of about 35/40 C on the handwheel with the graduated scale (for a detailed description of the thermostatic control regulation refer to the sheet instructions in its package). The three-way mixing valve, on the other hand, is equipped with a "double regulation" which allows limiting the amount of water that is to be allowed to enter the low-temperature circuit in the condition in which the mixing valve is completely open. This "double adjustment" is set at the factory when the mixing valve is tested, it is advisable not to modify it except for special requirements. To change the "double adjustment" it is necessary to remove the white cap or the thermostatic control on the mixing valve (the valve will appear as in fig.a), insert a slotted screwdriver into the slot on the black pin (see the red arrow in fig.b), turn the pin by varying the mixing valve regulation as follows: Fig. A - Turning the black pin clockwise closes the passage of the heat transfer fluid to the low temperature system, limiting its passage to a maximum value even if the mixing valve is in the fully open position. - Turning the black pin anti-clockwise instead opens the passage of the heat transfer fluid to the low temperature system, increasing the maximum amount of water that is allowed to pass in the low temperature circuit in case the mixing valve is in position of complete opening. To obtain a standard regulation of the by-pass valve, it is advisable to close it completely by rotating the white handwheel (indicated by the blue arrow in fig. C) clockwise until it stops and then open it by 1 / 1.5 turns by turning the handwheel counterclockwise. Fig. C pag. 4

SAFETY Read the installation and commissioning instructions carefully before operating the appliance in order to prevent accidents and system failures caused by improper use of the product. Please note that the right to the warranty is void in case of unauthorized modifications or tampering during the assembly and construction phase. In addition to the aforementioned directives, the following rules must necessarily be followed: DIN 4751 Water heating systems DIN 4757 Solar heating systems DIN 18380 Domestic water heating and heating systems DIN 18382 Electrical and conduction systems in buildings DIN 12975 Solar thermal systems and their construction WORKING CONDITION The limit values shown must in no way be exceeded. Operational safety is therefore ensured by respecting the general conditions and operating limit values described in this sheet. SAFETY RULES FOR MOUNTING AND INSPECTION Assembly and inspection must be performed by qualified, authorized personnel who are familiar with the instructions given here. Before any work on the equipment is necessary to make sure that they are in rest conditions. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS The electrical connections must be made by qualified personnel. Before powering up the relay unit, check that the data indicated on the nameplate regarding the type and voltage values supplied by the electricity grid are respected. All connections must be made as prescribed by law. MAINTENANCE Maintenance operations must be performed by qualified, authorized personnel who are familiar with the instructions given here. Before any work on the equipment is necessary to make sure that they are in rest conditions. If the pump is to be replaced, the shut-off valves should be turned to the closed position. Warning! Depending on the operating conditions of the pump and the characteristics of the system, the surface temperature may be very high. Therefore, if you touch the pump directly, you are in danger of burns!
