TOWN SQUARE COMMUNITY VISION The City currently owns 16.5 acres in downtown Boynton Beach which contains several historic structures and City buildings that need to be replaced plus 3+/- Acres for Police/Fire relocations. E2L Real Estate Solutions was selected as our development partner to work with the City on a redevelopment project which includes public and private development. The City will receive a new City/Hall Library building, a renovated and repurposed historic High School building for civic uses, two parking garages and interactive open spaces. The Developer will construct a hotel, private residential units and office/retail space. The vision is to create a town square that brings all communities into a center to live, work and play.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS Contract Executed June 20,2017 for Phase I Services (Public Private Partnership). High School Historical renovation work started August 1, 2017. Partnering Meetings conducted July 27, 2017 and September 28, 2017 to establish project goals and set charter.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS (continued) Phase I design and pricing services for Police Station, Fire Station, City Hall, Library, Parking Garages, Civil Infrastructure on schedule. With input from all team members, the City decided to integrate City Hall/Library/Event Center to allow greater use of public and private enterprise. In August 2017, the City added a District Energy Plant to Town Square Project to create a reliable and sustainable cooling system for public/private facilities.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS (continued) Open space planned developed and being refined for events planning with CRA and city staff. Kids Kingdom Playground being addressed for refurbish + state-of-art programs/safety. Public Outreach and Building Wealth programs actively in place for Phase II.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS (continued) Public Arts requirements for Town Square development being implemented for creative solutions and authenticity of Boynton Beach. Permits filed for South Florida Water Management District zoning approvals by city/state, High School construction. Agreements for land lease/purchase of private development underway.
