If the water is too hot, it will neutralize the chlorine before it can clean. De-scaling (Acid Wash) is of the utmost importance to control microbial growth (apply acid hot) High microbial counts in the milk is normally the result of :- 1. Poor temperature control of the milk. a) Insufficient Pasteurization (Heat shock to eliminate microbes) b) Insufficient Cooling of the milk (Low temperature slows down microbial growth) 2. Cross contamination (Poor Hygiene of the milk). via :- a) Workers (Dirty hands and protective clothing) b) Equipment (Dirty tanks, connecting pipes, clusters, rags) c) The Cow (Dirty udders and teats) d) Environment (Untreated borehole water, dust, air, soil, flies). WATER, FOOD & HARD SURFACE TREATEMENT, BIOFILM Water San 1g per 1Lt water = 100ppm 1g per 5 Lt water = 20ppm All of the above products are SABS approved for use in the Food Industry
