Officers checked the exterior of the residence finding it secure, no irregularities were noted. Dispatch advised there would be no keyholder response. Assist Fire 10/30/2016 03:03:54 2016-00010222 OAK RIDGE CT Officers responded to the 400 block of Oak Ridge Court for a report of smoke in the basement. Upon arrival, officer met with the homeowner and inspected the basement. Officer found a blown transformer next to the circuit breaker panel which caused a power outage and smoke in the residence. Officers and the homeowners exited the residence and waited for the fire department to arrive on scene. Lake Bluff, Lake Forest and Knollwood Fire Departments responded. Fire personnel were able to restore power to the home and advised the homeowner to have an electrician respond to inspect the damaged part of the electrical system. Assist Other Agency 10/30/2016 08:26:24 2016-00010227 SKOKIE HWY Officer responded to a local Motel for a possible battery victim. Officer determined an incident took place in Highwood the previous evening. Highwood PD responded to the scene. Officer assisted HPD until no further assistance was required. Assist Fire 10/30/2016 12:01:55 2016-00010230 SHORE ACRES DR Officer responded to the 1600 block of Shore Acres Road for a report of an issue with a fireplace. Lake Bluff Fire Department responded. It was determined that no assistance was required from the fire department and all units cleared. Assist Fire 10/30/2016 11:59:51 2016-00010231 SHERWOOD DR Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Sherwood Drive for an activated elevator push alarm that was verified accidental by an employee due to a child pushing the emergency button. As the officer arrived on scene the fire department verified the alarm was accidental and no police assistance was needed. Premise Check 10/30/2016 12:25:49 2016-00010233 E BLODGETT AVE Officer responded to the 200 block of E. Blodgett Avenue for a complaint of a realtor on scene who did not permission to be in the house. Officer made contact with the realtor who stated there was a scheduling mix up and he agreed to exit and lock the residence. Officer remained on scene until the realtor left the area. Identity Theft 10/30/2016 12:26:57 2016-00010234 E HAWTHORNE CT Officer responded to the PSB for an identity theft report. Theft Under $300 10/30/2016 15:05:02 2016-00010235 E BLODGETT AVE Officer responded to the 200 block of E. Blodgett Ave for a report of a political sign taken from the homeowner's property. The complainant stated that the sign had been knocked down twice previously, but her partner had placed it back in the front yard, in the ground last night. Sometime between last night (unknown time) and 1430 hours today, someone removed the sign from her property. The sign is estimated to have cost $20.00. The homeowner stated she does not know who took her sign. There is no further information at this time.

A waiver was signed and Officer was able to gain entry into the vehicle. Found Property 10/30/2016 15:27:03 2016-00010237 MAPLE AVE / E CENTER AVE Resident brought two ID cards belonging to a Lake Forest residence into the PSB. Officer transported the cards to the owner s residence and cleared. Motorist Assist 10/31/2016 01:32:10 2016-00010253 SKOKIE HWY While on patrol, officer observed a vehicle with activated hazard lights parked on the east shoulder of northbound Route 41. Driver cleared LEADS/NCIC and officer stood by as the occupants changed a flat tire. Vehicle was removed and officer cleared. Animal Found 10/31/2016 07:03:27 2016-00010262 MAWMAN AVE Officer responded to the 600 block of Mawman Avenue to meet the complaint regarding a large Husky type dog that followed him home. Officer recognized the dog name Bear and returned him to his owner on Rockland Avenue and issued the owner Notice of Ordinance Violation for dog running at large 3rd offense. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle. Animal Complaint 10/31/2016 09:25:19 2016-00010268 ROTHBURY CT Officer responded to the 300 block of Rothbury Court for a refused complainant report of a barking dog. Officer walked to the front door of the residence and did not hear a barking dog. No other police service requested. Citizen Assist 10/31/2016 11:06:42 2016-00010272 E SCRANTON AVE / MAPLE AVE Officer responded to the area of East Scranton Avenue at Maple Avenue for a report of multiple marking indicators on the public right of way and a concern for persons walking through the area. Officer could not determine the reason for the markers there. The information was relayed the building/zoning department. Prospect Avenue near Green Bay Road and assisted a driver gain entry to a locked vehicle. A waiver/release form was completed and officer was able to gain entry. Citizen Assist 10/31/2016 17:32:58 2016-00010284 E CENTER AVE Officer responded to the Lake Bluff PSB for a child that got separated from his family while trick or treating. The child stayed inside the PSB until a relative was able to come in and pick him up. The child was reunited with his family and Officer cleared. Upon arrival, the sun was just setting and Officer located five seventeen year olds from Lake Forest who had just arrived. Officer advised them of the hours and escorted them off the beach. 911 Call Investigation 10/31/2016 18:55:15 2016-00010287 E CENTER AVE Officer responded to the 700 block of E Center Ave for a 911 verify. Officer attempted to make contact with the homeowner and met with negative results. Lost/Mislaid Property 10/31/2016 18:57:45 2016-00010288 E CENTER AVE Officer responded to the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building for a lost wallet report. Assist Fire 10/31/2016 19:38:25 2016-00010289 E BLODGETT AVE Officers responded to the 500 block of E Blodgett Ave for a report of a grill on fire that was up against the house. The Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments responded. The grill was shut off and the flames went out on their own. Officers and Fire personnel all cleared. Citizen Assist 10/31/2016 20:10:17 2016-00010290 E CENTER AVE Officer assisted a subject in locating their vehicle. Subject thought it was near the library. The vehicle was located on North at Evanston. Subject given courtesy ride to their car and Officer cleared. Suspicious Incident 10/31/2016 20:51:05 2016-00010292 E CENTER AVE Subject from case 16-10290 returned back to the PSB initially to report she thinks someone moved her car one block north. Officer advised her there was no indication this occurred, however, she wanted a report because a plastic bottle that was inside a paper bag on the floor of the passenger seat, was outside of the bag now. She was concerned an unknown individual was stalking her, however, her car was locked when it was located and there were no other irregularities observed. Subject was given the case number for the incident and Officer cleared.

911 Call Investigation 11/01/2016 05:12:45 2016-00010306 E CENTER AVE Officer responded to the 700 block of East Center Avenue for a 911 hang up with a busy signal on callback. Officer noted the kitchen lights on and three vehicles on location but attempts at contact met with negative results. The exterior of the residence was found secure and officer cleared to resume patrol duties. Alarm Business 11/01/2016 06:26:24 2016-00010308 ROCKLAND RD Officer responded to the 300 block of Rockland Rd for an activated trailer and general alarm. Officer spoke with employees on location who advised they disarmed the yard building alarm. They will further check on the trailers. No further police assistance required. Suspicious Veh 11/01/2016 06:35:43 2016-00010309 SUNRISE AVE Officers responded to the 400 block of Sunrise Ave for a report of a vehicle that had driven on the parkway. Officers met with the driver who advised he was a contractor doing work at a home on Ravine Avenue and was unfamiliar with the area. Officers also met with the complainant who advised he wanted the case documented due to ongoing parking issues on Sunrise Ave. Lost/Mislaid Property 11/01/2016 09:00:12 2016-00010314 ROCKLAND RD Officer responded to the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building and met with a complainant who stated her purse may have been lost at a business in Lake Bluff. She stated she paid for items with a credit card at 6:30 PM on 10/31/16 and misplaced her purse between the business, her home in Great Lakes and her new home in Kenosha Wisconsin. Complainant stated there had been no activity on credit cards, and the cards had been canceled. She requested a police report to assist with refilling her prescription medication that was lost. No other police service requested. Assist PW 11/01/2016 10:34:42 2016-00010319 BIRKDALE RD Officer responded to the 300 block of Birkdale Rd for a report of leaf piles in the roadway. Officer met with the homeowner, and advised him of the ordinance. The homeowner stated he would remove the leaves from the roadway. Traffic Stop 11/01/2016 12:11:42 2016-00010326 SHERIDAN RD / E SHERIDAN PL Officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver and issued citations for operating a vehicle with suspended registration for an insurance violations, driving while license suspended, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Motorist Assist 11/01/2016 13:04:19 2016-00010330 SKOKIE HWY / ROCKLAND RD Officer responded to southbound Rt. 41 for a disabled vehicle called in by IDOT. Officer met with the driver, who advised the vehicle would not start. The driver had made arrangements for a tow. Officer stood by until the vehicle was removed. Lost/Mislaid Property 11/01/2016 14:40:30 2016-00010333 SKOKIE HWY Officer responded to the PSB to meet with a subject who reported a men's watch lost, missing or stolen. Officer responded to the viaduct over Sheridan Rd for the report of two male juveniles playing and climbing on the viaduct and the wall. Officer located the juveniles and advised them of the dangers of playing on the viaduct over a busy roadway. Officer contacted both of the juvenile s parents, and the boy's parents picked them up. No further assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Animal Found 11/01/2016 18:47:09 2016-00010337 E NORTH AVE Officer responded to the 300 block of E. North Ave for a report of a cat in the resident s garage. The resident stated the cat arrived yesterday and spent last night and today there. Officer transported the cat to the local Animal Hospital until an owner could be located. Ambulance Assist 11/01/2016 18:55:07 2016-00010338 SHERIDAN RD Officer responded to the Depot for the AED alarm. Upon arrival, Officer found the found the AED secure. No irregularities observed and Officer cleared. Ambulance Assist 11/01/2016 19:00:35 2016-00010339 E CENTER AVE Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Center Ave for a medic alarm. Upon arrival, Officer observed a subject on the floor. Lake Bluff Fire EMTs arrived on scene and entered the residence through an unsecured window. The subject had suffered a panic attack and fell. The subject was transported by Lake Forest Ambulance 421 to Lake Forest Hospital. Ordinance Violation 11/01/2016 19:13:24 2016-00010340 E WASHINGTON AVE Officer met with the complainant in the 300 block of E. Washington regarding a noise complaint on North Avenue. Officer determined it was a contractor in the 300 block of E. North Avenue working an emergency sewage back up repair in the home. Employee was advised of the construction ordinance hours and he said he would be done in 20 minutes. Complainant was advised. No further assistance needed.. Alarm Business 11/02/2016 03:18:14 2016-00010353 SHERWOOD DR Officers responded to the 900 block of Sherwood Drive for an activated burglar alarm. While en route, the alarm company received proper passcode. Officer verified accidental activation and cleared. Civil Matter 11/02/2016 04:26:48 2016-00010355 WARRINGTON DR Officers responded to Warrington Drive to assist a subject in retrieving a vehicle from her spouse. Officers determined that the vehicle was not on location and advised the subject to contact her local police department for further assistance if needed. Accident Property Damage 11/02/2016 08:01:24 2016-00010358 W WASHINGTON AVE / GREEN BAY RD While conducting school zone enforcement officer came upon a two vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of Green Bay Road and W. Washington Avenue. Officer completed an Illinois Traffic Crash Report. Lock Out 11/02/2016 10:00:43 2016-00010364 E PROSPECT AVE Officer responded to the 700 block of E Prospect Ave for an auto lockout. Upon arrival, officer determined he would be unable to gain entry to the vehicle without causing damage to it. Officer recommended the complainant call a dealership and have a spare key made. The complainant agreed, and officer cleared. Found Property 11/02/2016 12:32:14 2016-00010367 E CENTER AVE

A subject came to the PSB with a wallet that was found by her friend somewhere in Lake Bluff. Records clerk made contact with the owner's husband and he advised he would notify his wife to pick the wallet up. The wallet was entered into found property. Citizen Assist 11/02/2016 13:50:59 2016-00010371 SKOKIE HWY Officer responded to the 300 block of Skokie Highway to assist a dealership with a VIN inspection on a 2016 Land Rover that will be titled in the state of Indiana. VIN cleared NCIC/LEADS and officer completed all paper work. Assist Fire 11/02/2016 14:04:00 2016-00010372 SYLVAN RD Officer responded to the 300 block of Sylvan Rd for a report of water coming into the residence. Lake Bluff Fire Department personnel and Public Works responded and determined there was a clogged sewer line. The fire department used portable pumps to remove the water. No further police assistance was needed, and officer cleared. Citizen Assist 11/02/2016 15:18:04 2016-00010374 SKOKIE HWY Officer responded a dealership for a VIN inspection. Officer arrived on scene and completed the provided form for the VIN inspections. No irregularities were noted and officer cleared. Public Health and Safety 11/02/2016 15:27:45 2016-00010375 SKOKIE HWY / ROCKLAND RD Officer responded to the area of Route 41 and Route 176 for a report of a flooded roadway at a curve. Officer checked the area and located water in the roadway on Skokie Valley Rd between W. Washington Ave and Route 176. IDOT was notified of the roadway condition and officer located no other roadway hazards in the area. Check Well Being 11/02/2016 16:05:00 2016-00010377 N ENVIRON CIR Officers responded to the 29600 block of Environ Cir. for a well-being check. Officers made contact with the resident after receiving an anonymous letter forwarded to this department from the Illinois State Police. The letter stated that the female resident and her children had been the victim of multiple incidents of physical abuse and were unable to seek assistance on their own. The resident advised that she was not in any distress and neither she nor the children had been physically abused. The resident stated that it has been a stressful time during a divorce but no assistance was needed from this department. Officers provided the subject with a victim information form and advised of how to obtain an order of protection if one should be needed in the future. Officers noted no irregularities at the location and cleared when no further assistance could be offered. Fraud 11/02/2016 17:40:30 2016-00010379 N BIRCH AVE Officer responded to the PSB to meet with a walk in complainant regarding fraudulent documents. 911 Call Investigation 11/02/2016 22:10:47 2016-00010384 E CENTER AVE Officer responded to the 700 block of E. Center Ave for a report of 911 investigation. Upon arrival, Officer met with the homeowner who stated that the phone number is not her home phone number. She believes that the phone number may have been a fax number in which she no longer has set up at the home. No further assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Ambulance Assist 11/03/2016 02:08:20 2016-00010396 E NORTH AVE Officer responded to the 300 block of East North Avenue for a lift assist. Lake Bluff and Lake Forest Fire Departments responded. Subject was transported to Lake Forest Hospital by Ambulance 421.

Alarm Business 11/03/2016 02:45:02 2016-00010397 NORTH SHORE DR Officers responded the 900 block of North Shore Drive for an activated burglar alarm. Upon arrival officers checked the exterior of the business finding it secure. Officers could see inside the business and found there were dogs walking in the lobby area that apparently broke out of the room they were boarded in. A keyholder was contacted and responded. The keyholder confirmed the dogs activated the burglar alarm, no further assistance was requested. Suspicious Incident 11/03/2016 06:33:25 2016-00010403 ARMOUR DR / GREENWICH CT Officers responded to Armour Dr. and Greenwich Ct for a driving complaint. The complainant advised there was a vehicle parked on Armour Dr. at Greenwich Ct, and another vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, and upon passing the parked vehicle, forced the complainant off the roadway. One vehicle was described as a Toyota, and the other a SUV. Officers checked the area, but found no vehicles matching the description. Assist Other Agency 11/03/2016 11:48:00 2016-00010413 SHERWOOD DR Officer responded to the 900 block of Sherwood Dr. at the request of the Drug Enforcement Administration to locate a vehicle involved in an investigation. Officer located the vehicle and relayed the information. Officers later responded back to Sherwood Dr. with DEA agents and stood by as cover while they arrested a subject on an arrest warrant. Officer transported the subject to the PSB where DEA agents utilized the interview room to conduct an interview of the subject. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the store manager who stated that someone was in the cooler moving shelves around and it hit the alarm sensor. Officer observed no irregularities and cleared. Officer assisted with traffic control until the vehicles were removed from the roadway. Assist Fire 11/03/2016 16:25:17 2016-00010418 E PROSPECT AVE Officer responded to the 500 block of E. Prospect Ave for a report of a possible gas leak at the residence. Upon arrival, Officers and the Lake Bluff Fire Department determined there was no gas leak. The homeowner stated her thermostat wasn't working properly. Lake Bluff Fire Chief arrived on scene and determined there were no irregularities noted. Motorist Assist 11/03/2016 18:32:27 2016-00010419 SKOKIE HWY Officer observed a vehicle on the shoulder of northbound route 41 with its hazard lights activated. Officer met with the driver who was changing his front tire because the other one blew out. Officer stood by until the driver was able to successfully swap the tire out. Vehicle and driver cleared LEADS/NCIC. Officer cleared.

Check Well Being 11/03/2016 22:01:04 2016-00010426 W WESTLEIGH RD / S RT 41 Officers were dispatched to northbound route 41 and route 176 for a report of a vehicle swerving and honking its horn. The caller stated they may have possibly heard a female screaming from the vehicle. Officers located and stopped the vehicle at the W Washington Ave apartments. After speaking with both subjects Officers determined there was no crime committed. Both parties cleared LEADS/NCIC and were sent on their way. Alarm Business 11/04/2016 01:01:02 2016-00010428 SHERWOOD DR Officers responded to the 900 block of Sherwood Drive for an activated burglar alarm. The alarm company reported entry/exit activation. Officers found the main entrance unsecure due to having a rug partially obstructing the door jam. Officers checked the interior of the building finding no irregularities. Officers were able to secure the main entrance once the rug was moved and exited the building. Officers were advised the alarm company was attempting to contact a keyholder with negative results. Alarm Business 11/04/2016 07:48:53 2016-00010436 NORTH SHORE DR Officers responded to the 900 block of North Shore Dr. for an activated burglar alarm. Officer arrived and determined employees were on location. The alarm was set off in error, no irregularities noted. Parking Problem 11/04/2016 10:02:45 2016-00010439 E WASHINGTON AVE Officer responded to the 200 block of E Washington Ave for a parking complaint. The refused complainant advised vehicles were parked on both sides of the street making it impassable. Officer made contact with a resident in the 200 block of E Washington Ave. and advised them of the complaint. The resident agreed to move the vehicle. Assist Fire 11/04/2016 10:00:15 2016-00010440 RAVINE AVE Officers responded to the 700 block of Ravine Ave for a natural gas leak. The complainant advises a work crew struck a gas main attached to the coach house. Knollwood and Lake Bluff Fire Departments responded. Officers set up a perimeter and maintained scene security. North Shore Gas responded to the scene and was able to cap the gas line. All units cleared. Public Health and Safety 11/04/2016 15:01:15 2016-00010443 RAVINE FOREST DR Officer responded to the 200 block of Ravine Forest Dr. for a tree that had fallen and taken out a power line. The Lake Bluff Department responded to the scene and contacted ComEd who stated they would be responding to the scene. Officer cleared for 16-10444. Alarm Residential 11/04/2016 16:01:49 2016-00010444 E PROSPECT AVE Officer responded to the 200 block of E Prospect Ave for an activated burglar alarm. Officer arrived on scene and met with a house sitter who stated she did not have the alarm code to turn the alarm off. The house sitter stated she has contacted the homeowner and is awaiting a call back from her to turn the alarm off. Officer observed no irregularities and cleared. Check Well Being 11/04/2016 16:42:06 2016-00010445 MOUNTAIN RD / SUNRISE AVE Officer responded to the area of Sunrise Ave and Mountain Ave for a report of a shiny object floating in the lake. Officer spoke with a subject who stated it looked like a board and that it floated to shore north of the beach. Officer observed no irregularities and cleared.

Assist Fire 11/04/2016 18:01:14 2016-00010447 WARRINGTON DR Officer responded to the 80 block of Warrington Dr. to assist the Lake Bluff Fire Department with replacing a battery on a smoke detector. The LBFD successfully replaced the battery and Fire and Police personnel all cleared. Parking Problem 11/05/2016 09:10:45 2016-00010465 BATH AND TENNIS CLUB RD / GREEN BAY RD Officer responded to Bath and Tennis Club Rd and Green Bay Rd for a parking complaint. The refused complainant states there are trucks parked making it a hazard. Officer met with a work crew who was unloading trees from a semi and stated it would be removed. Officer granted parking permission for the work trucks while the trees were being planted. The road was passable. Animal Complaint 11/05/2016 11:08:23 2016-00010470 MACLAREN LN Officer responded to the 300 block of Maclaren Ln for an animal bite report. Upon arrival, the complainant advised she was walking her dog on Maclaren when she observed a male subject walking two black dogs off leash near W Sheridan Pl. The complainant said the dogs ran up to her dog, but did not bark or growl. No bite took place. The complainant said the owner of the two dogs was unable to control his dogs verbally and they ran to the 400 block of W Hawthorne Ct. The complainant said she is familiar with the dogs, and walks past them frequently, but they are normally controlled by an invisible fence in their yard. Officer made contact with the owner via telephone and advised them of the complaint and the ordinance. The owner said they would leash the dogs in the future, and the call ended. Suspicious Incident 11/05/2016 16:06:22 2016-00010472 E SHERIDAN RD Officers responded to the 100 block of E. Sheridan Rd for a report of subjects walking around the foreclosed property. The complainant believed the subjects to be the previous homeowners. Officers arrived on scene and checked the interior of the residence after finding the front door unsecured. Officer did not locate anyone on scene and were able to resecure the doors. Theft Under $300 11/05/2016 21:07:33 2016-00010478 ROCKLAND RD Officers responded to the 900 block of Rockland Rd for a retail theft and the offenders had left the store. Officers were able to apprehend the two offenders on the bicycle path over route 41. One subject was charged with retail theft.
