mind+ matter Bachelor project 2016 I did everything with Marc Bötzius Supervised by Prof. Johannes Bergerhausen In collaboration with Prof. Bernd Benninghoff Our bachelor project Mind+Matter deals with the creation of an independent product design label for the interior design faculty of the University of Applied Sciences Mainz. Based on a multimedia platform consisting of a website and a virtual, three-dimensional exhibition room we developed the visual identity, the brand philosophy, an unique image style, the website design, the look of the virtual exhibition rooms and did the coding. Nike Free Run Retail Campaign concept ci spatial I was responsible With & For Commissioned 2017 for the retail design, the 3D renderings and the design of the premium window solution (left). Marketing Pioneers graphic web print lead We developed spatial tools and solutions that represent the Nike Free Run marketing campaign s look-and-feel in a retail environment for the countries Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Next to a lot of strategy, conception and planning, I had the chance to design a premium window solution for Zuerich, Switzerland. The whole back of the window is a huge LED screen showing a moving sole pattern of the Nike Run Flyknit. In front of it are typical design elements of the retail objects we created.
Cartel Connections II concept ci spatial I was responsible With & for Commissioned 2018 for the illustrations and the graphic design Mad Hatter Projects graphic web print lead Cartel Connections is an art exchange project between London and Berlin. Mad Hatter Projects have joined with Berlin based collective, Cartel Blanche, Linking the fractals of both cities underground scene, for an electric night of contemporary visual artists and performers. The illustrations show the connecting chain between the cities brightening the obscure surrounding.
Creative Space concept ci spatial University project 2015 graphic web I was responsible for the corporate identity design, the website (design & coding) & two workshops print With Marc Bötzius Supervised by Falko Ohlmer lead The University of Applied Sciences Mainz established a three day workshop for pupil to learn design essentials and get a sneak peek what studying communication design is about. Our course was the first to deal with that topic, so we did everything from scratch, from the design to the content of the workshops. The workshops was sold out in the preorders. Meanwhile (2017) Creative Space is in its third year.
The North Face Outdoor Booth concept ci spatial I worked on With & for Commissioned 2018 the conception and the 3D renderings Marketing Pioneers graphic web print lead We created a booth for The North Face highlighting the six key stories of the brand. The booth was constructed at the Outdoor Show in Friedrichshafen 2018. The design gives an abstract on mountain feeling while upholding a high quality overall look.
Noir Visions EP Cover concept ci spatial I did Listen here Personal 2016 everything on my own cloud.com/matsvno graphic web print lead I illustrated a vinyl cover as well as some graphics used on my social media channels for my music project Matsvno. The illustrations treat the topics of identities, masking and blur; by creating a obviously artificial alter ego.

We gathered all illustrations in combination with texts by Paul Mielke in a publication called A complete catalogue of our work the MoMA didn t reject. Published in August 2018. All shown illustrations are my contribution to the project.

Crème #5 Exhibition Self initiated 2013 / 2014 I was responsible for Organisation and coordination, visual identity, layout, trailer, exhibition With The Crème #5 Team, consisting of students of the University of Applied Sciences Mainz Crème #5 provides students the possibility to present their work at a self-initiated exhibition. It consists of an exhibition (11th April 2014), an exhibition catalogue / related magazin and two trailer (call for entry / exhibition trailer). Makumi Saka concept ci We did With Links Commissioned 2016 ongoing everything together Takumi Naka & Bastian Hansl Show teaser: vimeo.com/211171503 vimeo.com/211171994 spatial graphic web print lead Together with dj duo Alex Weber and Hans Rutrecht we hosted a event series at the local club Kulturclub SchonSchön in Mainz. While they are playing their sets b2b, we tried to react and visualize their performance with a live visual show. We prepared and created video loops and tweaked them with an effect rack manually controlled by a midi device live. This effects the videos to be always different and getting a human touch by us.
