Wetland JOPAD PLACE POJECT PUPOSE The purpose of this project is to update the Michaels Ave eserve Masterplan in preparation for stage three of its redevelopment. The project scope is to investigate two layout options for the lower fields. The first plan is based on the 0 masterplan with some minor revisions and the second option explores further design options for the reserve. The reserve is currently under going stage of its development, including the improvement of the sports fields. Ellerslie Cricket Club and Ellerslie Association Football Club are currently developing a concept plan for new clubrooms with Avery Team Architects as a separate venture, and these proposals will be incorporated into the concept plan as they develop. Michael Park School POJECT GOALS: Enhance the reserve for its users Create a more usable space for the varying park users; accommodate for passive recreation, play and sports. Artificial field WHITES WAY Create an activity hub in the centre of the reserve. Improve safety, particularly around the drop off area for the Plunket childcare centre. Implement planting to soften the hardscape areas.
