Roof packaged Air conditioning Modules With the continuing development in hermetic compressor technology and the introduction of environmentally friendly refrigerants, roof packaged air conditioning is increasingly becoming the choice of both coach builder and train operator as the most convenient and cost effective method of providing air conditioning to passengers. Sepand Tahvieh range of roof package units is considerable with cooling capacities ranging from 15kw to a massive 42kw. RMP units can be used individually or in pairs to cover virtually all cooling requirements likely to be necessary to provide luxurious air conditioning to passenger saloon areas. All Modules are ideal for both new vehicles and for retrofit to existing cars. Their fully stainless steel construction combined with all copper heat exchanger coils makes them suitable for the most arduous of climates. The use of fully hermetic compressors makes the unit virtually it maintenance-free between major overhauls. Twin compressors employed within individual refrigeration circuits allows independent compressor operation under thermostatic control or in the unlikely event of compressor failure or refrigerant leakage. Air filters are easily accessible from within the car and can be changed in seconds.

There is the other model which the air handling units with their fans, evaporators, heating batteries, and filters, are located in the roof area. The compressor and condenser can be installed underneath the car. The air handling unit for roof installation has a particularly low profile in order to lose as little ceiling height as possible. The fan (a silenced version) with 2 radial impellers, evacuates the air and passes it via an evaporator and an electric heating battery into the roof ducts. The compressor unit forms the core of the refrigeration circuit. The compressor can be semi-hermetical or open, depending on the type of power supply. We only use proven series production units from well-known compressor manufactures, or in accordance with customer s particular requirements. Under normal circumstances, the compressor unit is fitted with a capacity control. The driving motor is supplied according to existing power supply and usually incorporates overload protection. The condenser robust axial fans refrigerant collecting vessels and filter dryers, complete with the special finned heat exchangers. To facilitate cleaning of the heat exchangers, the fans and bottom plates can be swung aside with a few easy hand movements.
Under FRAME Air Conditioning System This system is formed of three individual sections which consist of Compressor section, Condenser section and Air handling section and connection of units is by units is by special pipes and flanges, therefore installation and dismounting of the system are easily possible. All of the sections are under frame mounted.
This system operates in high ambient temperature up to +50 C with high condense temperature up to +65 C. At this system has been used of refrigerant R 134a (recommended by international associations and for environmental protection) and using of this refrigerant is one of the advantages of this system in comparison of its foreign analogous (which has used of refrigerant R 12)
By using of very perfect and exact control system Sepand Tahvieh Air conditioning systems have ability of adjusting temperature in each of compartments individually and by selecting of passengers between 22 C to 26 C. also the unit can operate in all seasons of year in temperature range between -25 C to +50 C for outside air. Locomotive Static ti Inverter Air conditioning i System : This Air conditioning System is designed and manufactured for producing of standard and suitable temperature of Locomotive static inverter.
This system consist two main unit one out door unit which is installed on the roof of locomotive and the other indoor unit which is installed in the locomotive and on the inverter.
