The standard ASSA ABLOY commercial doorset range comprises a fully finished door leaf and frame set and is supplied with all seals, hinges, lock case, striking plate and flush bolts for pairs, all factory fitted. The standard doorset The product comes in two major components; door and frame, both wrapped separately. There is an option however for single doors to be supplied pre-hung in the frame. Veneers can be crown cut, or quarter cut, depending on species selected. Doors are fully factory finished, hardwood lippings and glazing beads are also supplied to complement or contrast. Frames are available in softwood, softwood veneered or solid hardwood. Crown cut veneers are book-matched giving an attractive and continuous matched pattern across the width of the door. Book-matching takes each veneer slice and joins each edge to the corresponding edge of the next slice, making each group of assembled veneers one continuous attractive pattern. All product is fully packaged before leaving the factory to minimise any risk of damage. Generally installation is the responsibility of the customer and should be fitted in accordance with our fitting and maintenance instructions. ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions also offer an installation service where required. Doorsets are prepared for installation and generally no further machining or joinery work is required. However, certain components will be supplied loose for fitting on site where it is impractical to factory fit.
