Intuitive and simple menu Safety by password function Applications Disinfection Cooling water Process Water K 100 W DES Drinking Water / Beverages Description The instruments of the K100 series are high-quality single-channel measuring and control instruments to measure disinfectants, ph/orp, conductivity or gas. Each instrument has one measuring input and a temperature input. You can select automatic or manual temperature compensation. All instruments contain a PI controller with two set points. Data can be read out via 0/4-20mA output or optionally via serial interface. The K100 provides various safety features: A freely adjustable start delay prevents wrong dosing after power failure, and the controller is shut off automatically in a low-water situation. You can activate dosage check, a function that stops the controller and issues an alarm if prolonged dosing with 100% does not result in reaching the set point or the p range, possibly due to damaged feed lines. Two limits can be defined, to issue an alarm if the measurement exceeds the limits. K100 instruments for the measurement of free Chlorine, Chlorine dioxide, Ozone, and Hydrogen peroxide are optionally available with our automatic sensor cleaning ASR.

Accessories accessories RS 485 module KUNTZE protocol Serial interface for K 100 instruments. With this card all instrument data can be read out. The used protocol is a for Kuntze developed Bus protocol. ASR - automatic sensor cleaning The automatic sensor cleaning is a patented highly efficient process to clean electrode surfaces. During the cleaning process, Hydrogen and Oxygen are produced at the electrode surfaces, blasting away even persistent coatings. Additionally, Oxygen oxidizes organic coatings, and Hydrogen reduces organic and inorganic substances, especially iron and manganese oxides. Excess gas recombines to water and do not interfere with the measurement or the process. Test Plug DES With the test plug you can check the function and connection of our disinfection measurement - not for Total Chlorine measurement (not TCl).
