The installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of domestic solar water heating systems 1 Scope 1.1 This standard covers requirements for the safe installation, retrofitting, maintenance, repair and replacement of domestic solar water heaters 1.2 This standard does not cover the installation of solar water heaters for swimming pools and commercial buildings. 1.3 It does not cover the installation of solar water heaters on thatched roofs. NOTE This standard does not take into account the effects of the integration of additional energy sources for example electric elements, heat pumps, gas etc. Each additional energy source may be subject to its own National Specification. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
