Concentrations of dissolved ozone in water is internationally given in mg/l (micrograms of ozone dissolved in per liter of water) or parts per million, ppm (parts of ozone in per mullion parts of total water) Golden Formula for ieog: [Dissolved Ozone Concentration, ppm] = [Total given ozone, mg/hr] x [Dissolution Rate, %] / [Flow Rate, L/hr] With Biotek Ozone s system, a dissolution rate of 95% can be comfortably assumed. Meanwhile, a 75% dissolution rate can be taken as a safe reference. Following calculations using above formula a range of concentrations for the output will be obtained.
