For starters there s plenty of parking at the front with the driveway, garage and double cart lodge. Once inside you have all the space you need for large gatherings and plenty of room for overnight guests too. The owners have celebrated many It s very tranquil here with stunning views and the owners loved waking up to look out from their master bedroom across the lakes and meadows and surrounding countryside. It really is idyllic and we always felt so relaxed and
comfortable. You come in the back door, kick your boots off and feel right at home. It s that sort of place. The whole house has heaps of character, with stone, tile and wooden floors and original oak beams, as well as traditional fittings such as basins, taps and light switches. It shows the attention to detail and enhances the character feel. The modern garden room has a completely different ambience with a vaulted ceiling and lots of glazing and the owners love the contrasts here. This is a bright and airy house in summer but lovely and cosy in winter with two wood burners and the Aga. The kitchen is a great size room with a good family table and a huge walk in larder where we kept all our food, pots and pans and fridge. We ve spent many a happy evening sitting around the table chatting to friends over a glass of wine or preparing food there while we share coffee. over and lit the fire pit on the terrace so we could sit out until very late and watch the sun set. There s lots of wildlife too so it really is part of the countryside. The owners also have a thriving orchard and little kitchen garden with herb bed and there s scope to expand these if desired. We spent a lot of our time here outside there s so much to enjoy! The Accommodation The main entrance to the property is situated just off the shingle drive.
