Panther Static Hot Cupboard User Instructions Installation Remove all packaging and protective coatings from both outer and inner surfaces of the appliance prior to use. Ensure the appliance is level. To adjust the height loosen the lock nuts on the relevant feet and turn anti-clockwise until the appliance is level. The lock nuts should then be made secure. Note: The appliance when sited should not obstruct any plug and socket outlet. The appliance may be connected to an electrical supply by means of the plug and lead supplied with the appliance. Note: The plug is bonded to the lead as standard and is therefore nondetachable. It is recommended that before using the appliance, for the first time, it is switched on and set to maximum for at least one hour as some odours may be emitted from the insulating material contained within the appliance. Operating Once connected to the electricity supply power is supplied directly to the unit; this will be indicated by the illumination of the Green neon. To heat the appliance turn the thermostat control knob in a clockwise direction to the desired setting (see table below); this will illuminate the amber neon. When the amber neon is no longer illuminated the unit has attained the desired temperature. During use the thermostat will activate the heating elements to maintain a constant temperature; this will be indicated by periodic illumination of the amber neon. Cleaning and Maintenance of the Appliance Before cleaning switch off the appliance, isolate from the mains electrical supply and allow to cool. Once cool the appliance may be cleaned with a mild detergent solution using a damp, soft cloth. Shelving and the drip tray may be removed for ease of cleaning. Do not use abrasives as they may cause damage to the metal surfaces. Do not clean the appliance with a water jet or pressure cleaner. Safety The unit is splash protected. However if the appliance is situated in an area where the floor is to be regularly cleaned with large quantities of water, or should a large spillage occur in the immediate vicinity of the appliance the unit must be isolated from the main electrical supply before cleaning commences.

Panther Serviceable Component Instructions Mains Cable All electrical work carried out on this appliance must be undertaken by a qualified electrician. 2. The wiring box is located at the back of the unit. In order to gain access the shelves must be removed from the appliance. 3. To remove the wiring box cover loosen and remove the self-tapping screws. 4. Free Live and Neutral wires from the terminal block, free Earth wire from retaining stud. 5. Ease the cable-clamping bush from the back of the unit and withdraw mains cable. 6. Replacement of mains cable and parts is made in reverse order. 7. Electrically test appliance for safety. Element Replacement 3. Remove wiring box cover as detailed above. 4. Remove Live and Neutral wires from the element terminals. 5. Loosen and remove element-retaining nuts. 6. Remove element from element pillar. 7. Replacement of element and parts is made in reverse order. 8. Electrically test appliance for safety. Thermostat Replacement 3. Loosen and remove thermostat shroud retaining screws. 4. Remove thermostat shroud. 5. Remove top cover from appliance. 6. Free thermostat bulb from retaining bracket and grommet. 7. Feed thermostat and capillary through the hole in the inner lid. 8. Remove the control knob from the thermostat spindle, take care not to lose the spring clip. 9. Loosen and remove the thermostat-retaining nut. 10. Remove the wires from the thermostat terminals noting their position. Note: wiring diagram is not supplied with the unit and is available upon request. 11. Remove the thermostat. 12. Guide thermostat bulb and capillary down the door pillar whilst withdrawing the thermostat from the appliance. Note: If thermostat bulb and capillary become difficult to remove it is possible to remove the door and door pillar by loosening and removing the door pillar retaining screws 13. Replacement of thermostat and parts is made in reverse order. 14. Electrically test appliance for safety.
Neon Indicator Replacement 1. Before commencing any work isolate the appliance from the electrical supply. 3. Loosen and remove thermostat shroud retaining screws. 4. Remove thermostat shroud. 5. Remove the wires from the relevant neon terminals noting their position. Note: wiring diagram is not supplied with the unit and is available upon request. 6. Ease the neon through the kick board. 7. Replacement of neon and parts is made in reverse order. 8. Electrically test appliance for safety.
