4 Is it possible to keep up with the volumes of dirty laundry? Despite our 60 years in the industry we cannot help but marvel at people s laundry habits. Almost everyone we meet complains about how much laundry they have and that they never have time to wash it all before the laundry basket is filled with even more dirty laundry. Some even invest in two washing machines. The ASKO Pro Series washers and dryers are designed to deal with this situation and moreover: with the 80 litre drum that can load up to 11 kg you can wash items that you normally can t do like kitchen rugs, pillows, large blankets or duvets. After the washing is done you put the whole wash load in the dryer which can take as much as 11 kg in its 145 litre drum. It is not surprising if you have not heard of this before the ASKO Pro Series washers and dryers are the world s first matching pair of extra-large domestic laundry appliances with professional construction. 6 7

7 Thinking outside the box Easy-to-use interface Although the technology in a ASKO Line Series washer is very advanced, it s also very easy to use. For example, the machine has a progam memory which remembers the last used program. Next time the machine is turned on, just press start. If you want to be sure your laundry gets really rinse To improve the rinsing result the best is to increase the number of rinses (and not just use more water). That s why an ASKO can rinse away all residual detergent. A must for people with sensitive skin and allergy sufferers. Get rid of your stains Ready when you want If it moves it s not an ASKO For us at ASKO, washing is not just having all the laundry perfectly clean. Since washing is an everyday activity it must also be as convenient and as easy as possible. That s why we try so hard to come up with clever solutions to make your everyday tasks so much easier. For example our washers have no rubber bellows to make loading and unloading incredibly easy. To make the best of the time you have available, we have designed a special Time program giving you the possibility to decide how long you want to spend waiting for the washer to finish. And as a last example of our lateral thinking all our washers handle high spin speeds virtually without moving. Comfort and quality - this is ASKO. Removing stains can be difficult, but with ASKO s stain program there is no longer a problem. You simply choose the fabric and type of stain and the machine then automatically achieves the best possible wash result and removes the stain. Using the Time program you can always wash as clean as possible in the time you have available. With this program you decide how long you want to spend waiting for the washer to finish from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Flexible, smart and time saving

8 Thinking inside the box Maximum effect. Minimal wear. Easier loading without rubber bellows The Active Drum system provides optimum care and maximum gentleness for your laundry. The hourglass-shaped and removable lifters guide the load to the gentler central area of the drum and also effectively remove large objects such as dirt and gravel to the larger holes at the edge of the drum. Thanks to the Smart Seal construction, the door takes up less space in the washing drum, making it possible for you to load more clothes. You don t have the traditional rubber bellow in the opening, which makes it easier to load and unload the machine. The Smart Seal solution also gives the washer a longer life time. We know you don t run a hotel. But your washer don t. When we build a new washer we try to imagine how you will use it in the hardest case scenario and then we multiply it many, many times which means we test it up to 10,000 hours, equatic to around 20 years of domestic use. It is designed exactly the same as if it was to be used in a hospital, a restaurant or some other tough environment. One example is our unique Quattro construction with four shock absorbers which ensures maximum spin speed for many years to come. Quite simply, we build our domestic products to the same standard as our professional products. When the going gets tough, the steel keeps going A washer must be able to withstand both high temperatures and high spin speeds. Plastic is simply not good enough. Stainless steel in both inner and outer drums is the best and that s what we use. 13 Dry facts and clever features Non-stop Butterfly Drying Our dryers tumble laundry in a figure of an eight, like a pair of butterfly wings, gently, non-stop and in less time, without the clothes bundling. This also saves both the belt and the motor, providing greater durability. Eight good ways to dry your laundry The auto programmes are not only convenient to use, they also save energy as the running time is adjusted according to the amount of laundry or how dry you want the load to be. There are eight efficient auto programmes to choose between: Jeans, Synthetic, Terry, Down, Iron dry, Dry, Normal Dry and Extra Dry. Bigger is better When buying a new dryer, don t be too modest. Bigger is, in this case, better. It s a fact that the larger the drum, the more air, the shorter the drying time and the smoother the wash. The large 145-litre drum is able to dry a 11 kg wash load perfectly, minimising bundling and creasing in your laundry. You won t regret it. Just press Start All ASKO Line Series tumble dryers have robust and easy to use interfaces. The programme memory automatically remembers the programme that was previously run, including any settings. So it s just a matter of pressing Start the next time. Just dry it! We spent a lot of energy saving yours Our heat pump dryers have low energy consumption, rated A+++ in accordance with the new EU energy mark. They only consume 0.18 kwh/kilo of laundry. In combination with our Sensi Dry system, energy consumptons is lowered even more

14 Dry like a professional Fits like a glove Twice as tough on lint There is always the perfect spot for your ASKO tumble dryer. The reason why we are so sure is the flexible installation. You can place it in a stack with your matching ASKO washer, you can place them side by side (any side will do because the door is reversible) Lint impairs circulation inside the dryer, which leads to higher energy consumption. This is why our dryers are fitted with a particularly efficient double filter. This prevents lint from gathering and increases the service life of the dryer. A steel hard fact: It lasts longer It ll keep your servicer away Nothing can be too reliable We don t think it s overkill that every component in a new ASKO dryer is tested to last for at least 20 years. The fact that we use a ball bearing construction, stainless steel drum and double lint filter seems perfectly natural to us. And we know they will work because we test the domestic appliances just as hard as we test the products for professional use in hospitals, hotels or restaurants. You can trust your ASKO it s built like a professional. Sooner or later, galvanised steel rusts. That s why we decided to make our drums out of stainless steel. And that s why our tumble dryers really do last longer. In addition, we construct the drum using three ball bearings rather than the far simpler plain bearings that do not have the same life span or stability. The motor in your new ASKO tumble dryer will not break down. Want to know the secret? It s beacause we have fitted our tumble dryers with strong and very long-lasting brushless motors. 19 Less mess With a drying cabinet, you can dry your family s sweaters, shirts, coats, shoes, gloves and more in a neat, organised way. It s a brilliant way of taking care of your family s clothes while keeping the house neat and tidy. Drying with care Check the labels on your clothes and you ll see that many garments and materials need very careful treatment. Silk, velvet and satin, for example, need to be handled with care. That s when a drying cabinet comes in handy. Where do you usually hang 16 metres of laundry? Our drying cabinets are very spacious with enough room to accommodate the equivalent of a 16-metre clothesline. The interior is flexible and the intelligent design makes them very easy to adapt and organise for various kinds of laundry. This ensures that you always achieve the maximum drying effect. Heat pump drying cabinets Our new heat pump drying cabinets are low in energy consumption but high in drying efficieny. With a dehydration capactiy of 22 g/min they dry a 4 kg load in just 90 min and with a energy consumption of just 0,3 kwh. The cabinet is a fully closed system which means that no exhaust air connection is required. The moisture condenses during the process and the water that is formed is conveyed to a detachable water tank or via a hose to the drain.
