It started back in 1950 in Vara, Sweden, with an innovative young man s dream to build a washing machine for his mother to make her life easier. They can be available in XL or XXL size, and built-in or fully integrated models which provide access to the largest and most flexible dishwashers on the market. Plus, all residential ASKO products offer a 2 year warranty. Small on the outside XXL on the inside An astonishing job was done by engineers to maximize the loading capacity of ASKO dishwashers. With the same outside dimensions as a standard dishwasher, the load can be made of large plates, baking trays and large cookware normally washed by hand. Intelligent colors An ASKO dishwasher is so silent that a new convenient feature had to be designed: the Status Light. Blue indicates more can be added, red indicates when it s too late to do so, and green indicates when the dishes are ready. Brilliant and typically ASKO. Lots of dishes and very little time The time program allows the user to choose the duration of the cycle. The machine adjusts to get the best results in the time selected. The program time and the temperature are selected depending how dirty the dishes are. The program memory automatically remembers the last program used so it can be repeated the next time. No more difficult loads Some items like bowls, cups and ladles are harder to load than others. The racks have been designed to accommodate every possible load. The middle rack is divided into two removable sections: one for larger utensils and one for bowls. There is a perfect spot for every item and a perfect result after every wash. 17

18 The hard facts Steel is stronger and more durable than plastic. This is a widely known fact, yet most manufacturers still use plastic in places that take a lot of wear and tear. We don t! To make sure the dishwasher will last, check the eight most important components: the tank, the racks, the spray pipe, the spray arms, the outer base, the feet, the strainer and the heating element. It s 8Steel! If any of these components are plastic, it s not an ASKO! It is designed exactly the same as if it were to be used in a hospital, a restaurant or some other tough environment. 19 No rinsing required Most people spend a lot of time rinsing the plates and bowls before placing them in the dishwasher. Those days are gone because ASKO dishwashers are equipped with SCS (Super Cleaning System). SCS saves time, water, energy and effort. Nordic Light There is a small yet highly effective light in the dishwasher. It comes on when the door is opened and lights up the whole machine. It makes loading and unloading simpler and easier to find any cutlery or other items that may have dropped in the dishwasher. By controlling the water temperature (85o F - 205o F) the need for bleach or other chemicals that could harm the environment and your clothes can be eliminated. Active Drum maintains the quality of your clothes, because it provides maximum fabric care for your laundry. The hourglass shaped paddles guide the load to the gentler central area of the drum.
