3 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS Digital Thermostat - Thermometer Provided for digital temperature adjustment. User can read the temperature value from the lighted digital screen. Heating Elements Immersed type, 304 quality stainless steel or incoloy sheated stainless steel electric heating elements with 6 8 9,5 mm diameter, MgO insulation, Cr-Ni material, U pipe. Available in various power rates, either as 3Phase or Single Phase. Incoloy sheated heating elements specially designed considering corrosive areas. This incoloy sheated immersion heating elements are much more everlasting for areas with mildy water. Min. Watt density for all heating elements is (7,75 11,63) Watt/cm 2. Safety Thermostat Provides tank protection via breaking electric circuit of the heaters unless tank water temperature level passes over operating temperature value. Ask for technical confirmation if you need to change this factory default setting. Power Steps Control Total power is divided into 3 groups with the help of the switches placed on panel cover. Tank will heat at full load if all three switches are on. You can control the heating power via turning some of the switches off during summer time when there is no need for full capacity heating power 3

4 24V.AC Reduced Command Circuit Voltage Diameter and insulation values of command cables are lower than energy cables. This disadvantage is being eliminated via using devices with low voltage. Human Life Protection System (Residual Current Device / Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) Residual current devices are designed to prevent electrocution by detecting the leakage current, which can be far smaller (typically 5-30 milliamperes) than the currents needed to operate conventional circuit breakers or fuses (several amperes). Residual current devices are intended to operate within milliseconds inorder to provide human life protection. Protection & Warning System Against Waterless Operation (Light) This system stops the operation and starts warning the operator with light inorder to provide protection for the heating elements incase the tank is empty or water level of the tank is low. Warning System Against Over Heating Safety Thermostat will break the circuit incase the tank water temperature level will pass over the limits. Heating will stop and warning system will warn the operator with light. Temperature and Pressure Safety Valve _ T&P Valve T&P valve is a mechanical safety accessory against excessive heat and pressure. It discharges at max.99 C and/or at max. 10,4bars. 4

6 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION DIWH Serie designed and constructed as a monolock heating system with its electric command panel in order to heat fresh water. This electric command panel is equipped with first quality electric components. It will be ready to operate as soon as finalizing the end connections of the energy supply line. Internal electric installation design of the panel provides easy access during maintenance, commissioning and operation. An authorized techician or operator can easily commission and operate the heater. User can adjust and follow the temperature value with the help of digital panel. Also the operation of the heating elements, waterless operation and over heating can be followed with the help of this unique command panel. DIWH Series heating capacity range is between 6KW - 30KW and production with different voltage values is possible. This Serie provides instant hot water with safe operation for ground applications as long with its special designed safety features like human life protection system. In addition to DIWH Serie, DIWH-MP Serie provides hot water for marine and naval applications. up 6

9 TANK 1. MATERIAL AND COATING Heating element house constructed of ASTM 304L quality stainless steel for maxiumum endurance. 2. CONNECTIONS Female NPT connections on cold water input, hot water output and on safety valves. Also there is a connection port for the T&P Valve which discharges incase over heating and excessive pressure. 3. SUPPORTS Electric command panel is mounted to the main body with flaps and main body designed as to be screwed to ground with bolts. DISCHARGE VALVE ASME and CSA rated T&P Safety relief valve is standart on DIWH Serie in order to protect the system against over heating and excessive pressure. NPT male and female output connections, thermo unit with special coat, test lug, thermostat and brass body are some of the fatures of the T&P Valve. Discharge temperature = 99 C and discharge pressure = 10,4 bar. (Imported / USA) 9
