The patent slider design helps improve the running efficiency at partial load by up to 15%. The unit has passed various certification tests such as EU security regulation certification CE mark, EU pressure container certification PED, US lab national certification UL, and CRAA certification, and provides guaranteed long-term high-efficiency safe and reliable running. High-performance oil separator: The oil separation efficiency is more than 99.8%. The oil slinger amount can be reduced by 0.1% on average, improving the heat exchange efficiency by over 1%. The latest world-brand dual-pole three-phase F-class insulation squirrel cage motor is used, improving the motor efficiency by more than 2% on average. A high-precision temperature sensor is used to implement full-round real-time monitoring for the coil temperature of the compressor motor. With PTC heat-sensitive resistor, the INT69 module group provides extra protection for motor to ensure normal running of the compressor. Patent dual screw compressor delivering high efficiency at low noise Non-step regulation and patent slider design The unit adopts patent slider design and moves with the slide valve to inject oil under even p r e s s u r e, i m p r o v i n g c o m p r e s s i o n c a v i t y air density during load increase and decrease. The load increase and decrease efficiency is greatly improved. The partial load efficiency can be improved by up to 15%. The slide valve structure is configured with reliable brand-name electromagnetic valve to support non-step regulation within the range from 12.5% to 100%, implementing perfect match with actual load, ensuring high-efficiency running of the unit, and saving energy while providing a comfortable environment. Patent rotor design The patent 5:6 asymmetrical rotor gear form forged by special high-precision rotor milling machine tools is used. Such a gear form provides high precision and stable quality. In continuous running state, the rotor can maintain the optimal gap to meet the requirements for the highest efficiency. T h e internal structure is a threesection oil filter. The oil removal rate can be as high as 99.8%, delivering a higher efficiency than a traditional oil separator. Dual-layer shell A fine dual-layer shell forged by gray cast iron and processed by precision M/C machine tools is used. A threedimensional precision tester is used to test the processing precision, ensuring that the gap of the compressor meets the requirements of high-efficiency calculation. The duallayer design complies with pressure-bearing requirements, and reduces the noise. Such a high-strength and high-rigidity design ensures long-term running of the compressor. Simple oil return without the need of an oil pump The patent compressor oil return design ensures simple oil return and removes the need of an oil pump, eliminating the risks of a frozen heat exchange pipe. The patent design can improve rotor lubrication and seal and reduce the noise, especially in partial load conditions. In addition, excellent oil circuit and organization design is provided to efficiently prolong the bearing lifecycle. During rotation, each bearing is fully lubricated in a pressure difference manner. Oil filter A chilled oil tank is provided under the shell, and a highdensity cleanable metal oil filter is set. EK dual-screw compressor is configured with digit pressure difference protection to help daily operation and maintenance personnel master the running condition of the compressor. 7 High-efficiency screw-type air-cooled High-efficiency heat exchanger with outstanding performance The heat exchanger for EKAS screw-type air-cooled chilled water (heat pump) unit adopts patent refrigerant distribution design and passes strict certification of EU and US ASME. The internal heat exchange pipe uses high-efficiency internal threaded heat exchange copper tube to strengthen thermal conduction at the water side and refrigerant side, maximizing thermal conduction efficiency, reducing energy consumption of the unit, and reducing customer running expenses. The standard piping mode provided by the heat exchanger is trough coupling connection (with short tube), facilitating field installation. Each evaporator and condenser is equipped with independent air exhaust and water drainage devices. The heat exchanger facilitates compressor oil return design for simple oil return without an oil pump, eliminating the risks of a frozen heat exchange pipe. The heat exchanger requires a refrigerant filling amount that is only 1/3 compared with an ordinary heat exchanger, and does not leak, making it environment-friendly and reliable. New economizer W-shape air-side heat exchanger with better heat exchange effects The unit adopts a brand new economizer circulation design. The electronic expansion valve implements precision control, increasing the over-cooling degree of the unit, and greatly improving the cooling capacity and cooling efficiency of the unit. A new high-performing W-shaped air-side heat exchanger design is imported from Europe. Seamless quality air-conditioning bronze copper tubes are laid inside the heat exchanger and fully expanded mechanically. In addition, the tubes are coated with wave-form aluminum condensing fins. Even distribution of fan speed is achieved after CAE parsing, avoiding interference on the air-side heat exchanger from the surroundings of the fan. The fan speed shows evenness, implementing high-performance heat exchange. The coil of the heat exchanger is combined into the over-cooling circuit, avoiding excessive dispersion of liquid refrigerant and effectively improving the cooling capability of the unit. Stable and precise control through electronic expansion valves The full series units adopt electronic expansion valve control technology with independent power supply. The design of dual power supply implements optimal control for superheating and ensures high-performance running of the unit. The precise PID flow control through electronic expansion valves allows stable refrigerant control, protects the compressors, and monitors air exhausted by compressors, avoiding faults of compressors. Note: A decrease in superheating or unstable superheating results in reduced performance of the compressor, or even failure of the refrigerant to evaporate and thus to liquid compression, causing faults of the compressor. An increases in superheating lowers the performance of the water-side heat exchanger. Optimized bent impeller front-end design suppresses air eddy at the edge of the fan impellers, improves the rotation efficiency, and reduces the noise. Idle running of the motor is eliminated, and overheat protection is implemented, prolonging the lifecycle. It is directly driven by the motor, which eliminates transmission loss and reduces vibration. A high-static-pressure fan motor is optional, meeting requirements of various scenarios for static pressure. Environment-friendly The environment-friendly R134a refrigerant delivers outstanding performance, saves electricity, contains no chlorine, does no harm to the atmospheric ozone layer, and therefore has an unrestricted term of use. The emission of CO 2 is efficiently reduced, alleviating the increasingly severe urban heat island effect and enabling green buildings. Wide running range and long lifecycle The shell of the unit adopts electro-galvanized sheet and is electrostatic sprayed with anti-erosive coating, which effectively prevents rust and adapts to various harsh outdoor conditions. The unit adapts to a wide atmospheric temperature range from -10 C to 50 C. Efficient automatic precise defrosting is implemented, prolonging the lifecycle of the unit. Easy installation and simple maintenance Compact structure and easy installation The unit can run immediately after power supply and water supply are ready. No reconstruction on the equipment room or an auxiliary device such as cooling tower is required. The unit integrates electrical design. The user does not need to set a dedicated power distribution box. The intelligent control system automatically monitors and controls the running status of the unit, and displays fault causes for troubleshooting. The unit has a compact structure. The start and control systems are integrated. The main switch provides a prolonged handle for easy operation and automatic locking when the switch is on. After the switch is turned on, the automatic locking mode is enabled, providing a safe way to open the cabinet door. The unit has a tidy layout and a pleasant appearance. The unit features a precise and compact design, and a small volume, facilitating transportation and greatly reducing occupation area in the equipment room. Intelligent control system Precise control for security and reliability 1800 kw national lab With the high-performing dual-screw compressors specifically designed for the HCF-134a heat pump, high-class bearings, oil-pump-free lubricant circuit design, and protection for compressor suction stream liquid injection and intermediate liquid injection, the compressor runs in an extremely secure and reliable manner. Unique standby power design for electronic expansion valves effectively prevents hydraulic shock on the compressor. The chilled water outlet temperature is controlled to a precision of ±0.2 C. Various sensors in the system can accurately transfer signals and data to the controller so that the controller can protect unit parts in a timely manner, ensuring reliable running of the unit. Three-level password protection is implemented to prevent mis-operation and ensure safe running of the unit. The compressors start one by one at low startup current to reduce shock on the grid. Multiple protection functions ensure safe running of the unit. Intelligent defrosting Low-temperature cooling function The patent EK intelligent defrosting control logic is used and self adaptive technology is introduced to automatically correct and adjust the defrosting time according to changes of multiple variables such as the atmospheric temperature, coolant pressure, and defrosting time, enabling automatic adjustment to the defrosting mode and adaptation to various climatic conditions and weather changes. Compared with the traditional intelligent defrosting method, it is more accurate, reliable, and energy-saving. EK provides corresponding solutions for various use scenarios. This control center is a microprocessor control system installed, wired, and tested by EK. A highdefinition ultra-large touch screen is configured. You can tap a single key to get a load of clear information. Two languages, that is, Chinese and English, are available. The LCD displays information about the chilled water unit, subsystems, and system parameters. Multiple running parameters can be displayed on one screen. In addition, you can check the current running status of the chilled water unit through the interface. The product configuration is applicable to the chilled pump control system solution. Multiple persons are allowed to control and monitor the unit on the homepage of a Microsoft-based web browser. The international general RS485 standard serial communication interface is adopted. Joint connection with other building access systems (BASs) is supported through the communication protocol conversion module (optional) provided by EK to implement group control on multiple units. The standard protocols include BacNet, Modbus, and Lonwork.
