2 Kodiak Mechanical Ltd Warranty Package The fallowing information will explain the plumbing components, maintenance schedule and warranty coverage for the plumbing system and fixtures in your new home. Kodiak Mechanical Ltd warrants the the plumbing system and fixtures to be free of defect for one year from date of install. Damaged or normal homeowner maintenance items are excluded from this warranty. All faucets, tubs, sinks, lavs, toilets, and toilet seats are to be inspected by the developer within one week of install. Damaged or defective items will be repaired or replaced at this time. All fixtures in question are subject to inspection by a manufacturers representative. The warranty will not apply under the fallowing conditions: 1. When the plumbing equipment or any part of has been subject to accident, alteration, abuse, misuse or tampering. 2. Any stoppages or overflow caused by misuse of fixtures. 3. Dripping faucets after a period of 6 weeks caused by debris in line. 4. Damage to faucets due to water quality. 5. Plugged Aerators due to water quality. 6. Any stoppages caused by anything other than construction debris. We will continue to service your home after the one year warranty period for a nominally hourly fee. We know the products used in your home and are the most qualified to perform the maintenance. Keep in mind that every product that has moving parts could require occasional maintenance. The primary enemy of working plumbing parts is quality or other foreign material in the water system. We can not control the quality or purity of your water in your home unless filtration equipment is installed. Low Flow Fixtures Most of your plumbing fixtures are are designed to use low amounts or water. Due to this it could take a little longer than you are used to to get hot water. Waste System Extreme care should be taken on what goes down the drains in your house. DO NOT put anything down the drain besides human waste and toilet paper. The fallowing items should NOT

3 be flushed down toilets: tampons or sanitary pads, bar soap, paper towels, cat litter, grease, baby wipes or disposable wipes. Appliances Kodiak Mechanical Ltd is not responsible for repairing or commissioning appliances. Outside Taps (Hosebibbs) Make sure all hoses are disconnected in freezing conditions. If this is not done damage to the internal parts of the hose bib could occur and could leak inside the house when it is used. Water Pressure The pressure in your home will be set at 60 psi, do not increase the pressure as damage to the plumbing fixtures could occur. Kodiak Mechanical Ltd is not responsible for damage from increasing the pressure. Maintenance Schedule As Needed Fix dripping faucets Fix running toilets Monthly Check hoses and supply lines for leaks Run water frequently to keep p-traps full of water Keep faucet aerators clean Semi Annually Inspect Water Heater Check Timer on recirc pump is recirc system is installed Attached is a package with all of the fixtures and components in your house with manufacturers warranty information and model numbers.
