Secure the rear panel to a standard recessed box using the two screws marked with or to wall or flat surface using the three screws marked with 3. Make the electrical connections as shown in the attached wiring diagrams. E E THERMOSTAT TERMINALS PA1 / PA Expansion Board required for interconnection THERMOSTAT E E TERMINALS Disconnect wiring 73 from terminal and connect this end to one of terminal E on the thermostat terminal strip. If this connection is made, the bridge marked with must be made (*). The other thermostat terminal E is connected from the K5 on the board or from terminal 70. If yes, this jumper must be removed before doing new thermostat connections. The micro-switches are factory configured by default in the following position: 5.3 Atmospheric or remote return sensor connection (optional) NTC Sensor: Temperature~Resistance Features Temp ºC Resist. k BLOCK S1 1, 3, 4, 5, BLOCK S 1, 3, 6, 4, Y 1 G Y W 1 O C R (Heat pump Models) Factory configuration includes an internal sensor. Disconnect the 4 vac power supply to the thermostat. Set micro-switches 1,, 3 on block S as required. Connect the temperature sensor to terminals S and S. Reconnect the 4 vac. power supply. MICROS BLOCK S Use shielded-type wiring to connect the sensor. REF.- ETN

Thermostat Screens This screen will appear once all the necessary electrical connections have been made between the thermostat and the Unit. Y 1 G Y S S W E E W 1 O C R IMPORTANT: To check if the Unit has a jumper befween «R & 16» or «R & 17». If yes, this jumper must be removed before doing new thermostat connections. AutoFan 9 Coll O N 6.1 / Press the On/Off button to switch the thermostat on. This screen will appear. To turn the thermostat off, press the On/Off button again. Y 1 G Y W W 1 C R (Cooling only Models) MICROS BLOCK S (*) (*).- Set Micro no 5 on Block S to when the Unit starts up the Hot Water Coil. Auto Fan 3 Cool Auo Fan REF.- ETN O N 6. Temperature adjustment Press (+) or (-) to set the temperature. This will flash for 3 seconds and the atmospheric or set temperature will then appear, according to the position of micro-switch 6 on block S.
12 3 Heat O N Auto Fan On / Off M o d e F a n 3 O N Heat Aux Auto Fan On / Off M o d e F a n 6.3 Unit operating mode selection Press the Mode button to choose the operating mode: 1.- When pressed once, Heat will appear on screen (Heat Mode).- When pressed twice, Cool / Heat will appear on screen (Auto Mode) 3.- When pressed 3 times, Fan will appear on screen (Fan Mode) 4.- When pressed 4 times, Cool will appear on screen (Cool Mode) The operating mode will flash on the thermostat screen. While the thermostat is timed, the operating mode will be permanently displayed Emergency heating, can only be selected on Heat pump units. This is enabled by pressing the Mode button for 5 seconds. To cancel emergency heating and return to heat pump mode, press the Mode button for 5 seconds. If yes, this jumper must be removed before doing new thermostat connections. 3 Cool O N Fan 6.4 Fan/Auto Fan operating. Press the Fan button to change the Fan/Auto Fan operating mode. In Auto Fan mode the fan will only operate when there is a demand for heat or cold, i.e. when the unit compressors and fans are working (Cooling only Models) MICROS BLOCK S (*) (*).- Set Micro no 5 on Block S to when the Unit starts up the Hot Water Coil. 13 N-PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT MODELS «50HZ » WITH FREE COOLING Temperature and probe reading adjustments. Press the On/Off button for 7 seconds and 50 will appear on screen. Press the (+) button until 55 appears. Y 1 G Y S S W E E W 1 O C R K K 1 K (*) (*) (*) 8 3 Y 1 G 8 Y 7 O C R (Heat pump Models) MICROS BLOCK S LEGEND K.- Two-contact 4V. relay. (To be installed). K1 / K.- Relay contacts. ( * ).- Relay connection. REF.- ETN S E T Cool 6 S E T Heat 7.1 Temperature limit for cold operations. Press the On/Off button again and Cool and Set will appear. Press (+) or (-) to adjust the set limit required. The temperature range is from 10 ºC to 30 ºC Recommended 19 ºC. (By default 10 ºC). 7. Temperature limit for heat operations. Press the On/Off button again and Heat and Set will appear. Press (+) or (-) to adjust the set limit required. The temperature range is from 10 ºC to 30 ºC Recommended 6 ºC. (By default 30 ºC). IIMPORTANT Users can change the settings on the thermostat screen without taking the temperature limits into account, although the thermostat will work according to the settings established (Sections 7.1 and 7.)
14 0 S E T UL On / Off M o d e F a n LC On / Off M o d e F a n 7.3 Calibrating the probe reading. Press the On/Off button again. SET will appear on screen. Adjust the probe reading value using buttons (+) and (-). The calibration range is from -6 ºC to 6 ºC Value by default 0 ºC. 7.4 Locking the thermostat buttons. Press the On/Off button for 7 seconds and 50 will appear on screen. Press the (-) button until 45 appears. Press the On/Off button and UL will appear on screen (unlocked). Then press the (+) button and Lc (locked) will appear on screen. 7.5 Unlocking the thermostat buttons. Press the On/Off button for 7 seconds and 50 will appear on screen. Press the (-) button until 45 appears. Press the On/Off button and Lc will appear on screen (locked). The press the (-) button and UL (unlocked) will appear on screen. 15 N-PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT MODELS «50HZ » WITHOUT FREE-COOLING Y 1 G Y S S W E E W 1 O C R Y 1 G Y 7 O C R (Heat pump Models) MICROS BLOCK S - - REF.- ETN S E T FI O N EC S E T O N 7.6 Filter alarm adjustment. Press the On/Off button for 7 seconds. 50 will appear on screen. Press the (+) button until 80 appears, then press the On/Off button. The number of hours that the Unit has been running since the last reset made will appear on screen. Press the (+) or (-) buttons to adjust the filter change alarm. (Range: 0, 100, 00,..., 900 hours). This is 400 hours by default. The adjustment displays the number of hours divided by 10 (e.g. «40» are 400 hours). If the value 0 is set, the filter alarm option is cancelled. When the thermostat reaches the time indicated, the screen will flash, showing the atmospheric temperature and «FI» alternatively. To cancel the alarm, keep the Fan button pressed down for 15 seconds. 7.7 «EC» alarm signal. The bushing marked with the letter «E» are for free voltage contact (normally open). When an alarm is triggered, the thermostat screen will show the atmospheric temperature and «EC» alternatively. Once the problem on the Unit has been solved, the thermostate will automatically return to its operating mode. No alarm is displayed when the thermostate is switched
