Quality PURVerklebung PUR-bonded adhesive On all formed edging the edgebanding is with a PUR-Bonded adhesive. Bonding is on carcasses, fronts and surround material. Quality advantages: Improved thermal resistence through physical/chemical setting. (e.g. also through extreme heat influence) Optimum protection against moisture intrusion. Emissions class The high quality standard of product includes the observance of allowable formaldehyde limits in all materials and components. Through an appropriate selection of raw particleboard as well as the corresponding surface coating and in addition also including the edging, the upper limits of E1 emission values are strictly adhered to, respectively fall well short of these. (Emissions class E1 = 0.1 ppm = parts per million = 0.1 parts formaldehyde in 1 million parts of air) The chipboards used in carcass construction are so, that these are prepared corresponding to the raw chipboard E1 provisions, thus any subjective risks are excluded. certified safety Our company s products are certified with the GS symbol for tested safety from the LGA (Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern) in Nuremberg. Quality- and environmental management Documented quality management (DIN EN ISO 9001) and environmental management (DIN EN ISO 14001/EMAS) in order to guarantee and fulfil our quality standards and as proof of the implementation of regulations and laws relevant to the environment and as a standard for an environment-friendly service. PEFC-Seal Timber and paper products with the PEFC seal are from sustainable, carefully managed forestry. More at PB.2 MTA - 09/2017

General care instructions This section contains information on points to be observed in the daily care of your high quality kitchen. The different materials (surfaces) in a kitchen are generally very easy to care for and easy to clean. Here are some basic instructions on caring for your kitchen in normal use. Please note the following care instructions: Kitchen fronts should always be cleaned with mild, water-soluble household cleaners explicitly recommended for kitchen furniture in the product information. Never use aggressive agents or abrasive cloths, cleaners or sponges, such as scouring powder, steel wool, pan scourers or dirt erasers. Never use solvent-based cleaners such as cellulose thinner, acetone, nail varnish remover, etc. A steam cleaner or water jet from a hose should not be used. Damage by moisture, water and heat will invalidate the warranty and result in the loss of your warranty rights. General rule: To avoid damaging the surface the protective film should not be removed until assembly work is complete. Use a soft, lint-free cloth, chamois or soft sponge. After cleaning the fronts, they must be carefully wiped dry. Always ensure that all surfaces are dry. Residual moisture / water can cause permanent damage. Melamine fronts The high quality, robust melamine fronts should be cleaned with conventional water-soluble household cleaning agents or kitchen cleaners. They are best cleaned with hand-hot water and a soft, damp cleaning cloth. Then wipe the surfaces until they are dry. Do not use aggressive or scouring cleaners, polishes or waxes, hard sponges or steam cleaners. Glass cleaner can be used to remove stubborn soiling (old grease residues, etc.). Test the cleaning product in an inconspicuous place first. Lacquered and laminated fronts Lacquered and laminated fronts should be cleaned regularly. Light soiling: Damp microfibre cloth and wipe dry. Light to moderate soiling: Standard water-soluble household cleaner: spray on and wipe with a microfibre cloth, then wipe dry. Major soiling: Grease-dissolving all-purpose cleaner: spray on and wipe with a microfibre cloth, then continue cleaning as in the case of light to moderate soiling. Stubborn soiling: Thoroughly MOISTEN the magic sponge/dirt eraser with water. Spray the surface with standard household cleaner. Move the sponge over the surface uniformly and with gentle pressure. DO NOT SCRUB. Ensure that the sponge remains MOIST. Then continue cleaning as in the case of light to moderate soiling. Glass fronts Glass is extremely easy to care for. Dirt can be removed from the front with a damp / wet cloth or glass cleaner. Glass is a highly resistant and very hard material. Ensure that the glass surface of the front does not inappropriately come into contact with pointed, sharp or hard objects. In such a case, damage to the glass or even breakage cannot be excluded. Matt glass fronts Matt glass fronts should be cleaned regularly. MTA - 09/2017 PB.3

Organic glass optic fronts Kitchen fronts made of organic glass are made of a very easy to clean resistant acrylic material. Most stains and smudges can be removed with a damp microfiber cloth moistened with a household cleaning agent. To remove stubborn soiling a commercially available PVC cleaner with a soft sponge will help. Do not use abrasive cleaning sponges or brushes (e.g. Scotch-Brite, scouring pads, etc.), as they will cause scratch marks when applied with high force. The surface is scratch and abrasion resistant, but prolonged exposure to chemicals can damage the material. Aggressive cleaning agents such as scouring powder, drain or industrial cleaners should be avoided. High-gloss lacquer fronts Gentle cleaning is important to preserve an optimum surface finish. For this reason, please note the following tips: Clean the high-gloss lacquer fronts regularly. Loose dust: Can be wiped off with a soft clean cloth, without applying pressure. Normal soiling: Immerse a clean cloth / chamois leather (or Vileda cloth) in lukewarm water and gently wring out the surplus water. Rub the surfaces with the damp cloth, applying gentle pressure, then wipe with a soft cleaning cloth until dry. Never clean the complete front all at the same time - only clean 1 to 2 front parts at any one time. Major soiling: It is advisable to add a dash of mild household cleaner to the water in order to remove grease, nicotine and other residues. (Good results can also be obtained by mixing some hand soap or glass cleaner into the water). Important: Never use microfibre cloths or excessively hard cleaning cloths (e.g. linen cloths, paper, old cotton underwear with hard seams, etc.). These can scratch the surface. Matt lacquer fronts Matt lacquer fronts and surfaces should be cleaned in the same way as high gloss lacquer fronts. Never use aggressive scouring agents/powders, steel wool, polishes, (bees)wax, furniture cleaner, detergents containing strong acids, steam cleaners or dirty cloths. If the surface is rubbed or scoured too intensively they - like excessively rough cloths or sponges with rough sides - produce shiny streaks or patches which can damage the surface and cannot subsequently be removed. Grease residues must also be removed as soon as possible. If left for too long, dried-on grease/oil or tomato juice residues can cause permanent damage / staining / shiny streaks. Caution: excessive pressure when cleaning can permanently damage the surface. Lacquer ultra-matt fronts Ultra-matt fronts are a new category of matt decorative lacquered fronts in a premium design. Thanks to an innovative coating based on UV lacquer technology with anti-fingerprint properties, an exceptional surface evenness can be created. Light soiling: Use a soft, lint-free cloth, chamois or sponge. Do not use any microfibre cloths or dirt erasers. If the surface is damp cleaned, you should then dry it off using an absorbent paper towel to prevent the formation of streaks. Normal soiling: Clean the surface using warm water, a clean cleaning cloth or soft sponge. Where necessary, standard mild household cleaners or neutral soap without scouring properties can be used. Wash down afterwards with clean water to remove all traces of the cleaning agent to avoid the formation of streaks. The surface should then be dried off with an absorbent, clean wash cloth or paper towel. Standing water and other liquids may cause permanent damage. The following cleaning agents should not be used: Abrasive and scouring materials (microfibre cloths, scouring powder, cleaning sponges, steel wool, etc.) polish agents, detergents, furniture cleaners, bleaching agents. PB.4 MTA - 09/2017

Wood fronts Wood and wood veneer is a natural product and is subject to the phenomena that occur in nature. Solid wood and wood veneer surfaces are specially treated to prevent dirt from penetrating into the wood itself. Solid wood and wood veneer surfaces are subject to natural colour changes due to the effect of light. As a living material, wood expands and contracts on repeated exposure to very moist or dry air. The fronts/surfaces should always be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Never use liquid scouring agents (such as CIF), steel wool, polishes, (bees)wax, furniture cleaner, detergents containing strong acids, steam cleaners or dirty cloths. Grease residues must also be removed as soon as possible. If left for too long, dried-on grease/oil or corrosive fruit juice residues, etc., can cause permanent damage / staining / shiny streaks. Laminate worktops Laminate worktops must be cleaned regularly. Any standard household cleaner can be used for this purpose. Clean the worktops with warm (hand-hot) water with the addition of some household cleaner. Using lukewarm or cold water can cause discolouration and unsightly streaks on the surface. A soft cloth or sponge should be used to apply the water/ cleaning product. Dry off with paper towel. Never use scouring / sanding products, detergents containing acid or strong acids / salts, steel wool or dirty cloths. Your kitchen will suffer if pools of water are left to stand for any length of time or if damp sponges or cloths are left lying on the butt joins between worktop panels. Always remove them straight away and wipe dry. Do not place hot pans, pots or baking sheets directly on the laminate worktop always use a pot stand. Avoid cutting directly on the laminate worktop. We recommend always using a chopping board. Damage caused by improper use of the laminate worktop will invalidate the warranty and result in the loss of your warranty rights. FENIX -worktops In order that the surface remains looking good, certain points should be observed: Daily cleaning recommendationdaily cleaning with a dirt eraser is recommended for sustainable regeneration of the surface. General care informationalthough FENIX APL is highly abrasion- and scratch resistant, no abrasive or scouring substances or sponges, including sand paper and steel wool, should be used for cleaning. The use of substances with strongly caustic or alkaline ingredients should be avoided. Avoid using furniture polish and moisturising cleaners, because these can leave a film on the surface which will cause later soiling. Special care information and repairs Please follow the link below and observe the information listed below and observe the information listed: com/de/maintenance Cutlery inserts Wooden cutlery inserts: Remove the (wooden) cutlery insert from the drawer to clean it. The care instructions for (wooden) cutlery inserts are the same as for (wood) veneer fronts. Refer to the section: Wood Fronts Laminate/melamine cutlery inserts: Remove the cutlery insert from the drawer to clean it. The care instructions for laminate/plastic cutlery inserts are the same as for melamine fronts. Refer to the section: Melamine Fronts For both versions of the cutlery insert, any loose crumbs and dust can be removed with the soft nozzle of a vacuum cleaner. MTA - 09/2017 PB.5

Fitted sinks Stainless steel: Always dry the sink with a soft cloth after use. This prevents scale deposits and rims from building up in the first place. Use a recommended stainless steel care agent or a cleaner with scale-dissolving action for intensive cleaning and to freshen up the surface. SILGRANIT : SILGRANIT contains dirt-repellent additives. These ensure durable protection against scale formation and staining, as well as maximum easy care. It is usually sufficient to wipe the surface with a damp cloth. However, if scale or dirt does accumulate, use a standard household detergent for thorough cleaning. Particularly intensive scale stains can be removed with hot water at a temperature of approx. 60 C and a scouring pad. Steam and heat Avoid having clouds of water vapour coming into direct contact with the furniture parts. If visible signs of moisture are observed (droplets of water, etc.), the moisture must be removed immediately using a dry cloth. Never use a kettle or coffee machine below wall units. The steam can cause moisture / swelling damage that cannot be repaired. Keep the dishwasher door closed for at least 30 minutes after the programme has come to an end. Hot steam must not be allowed to come into contact with furniture parts as this can cause long-term (moisture) damage. The same applies to heavily furred-up coffee machines and kettles. The hot steam can cause damage. If steam unexpectedly condenses on furniture parts, dry it off straight away. Moving parts: The life of moving parts, hinges and other moving fittings can be extended with occasional cleaning. Moving parts should be given a drop of resin-free oil every two years. The runner components of pharmacy-style tall units must not be oiled. Dry dirt can be wiped off them with a dry cloth. If necessary, stubborn dirt can be removed with a little glass cleaner and a dry cloth. However, moving plastic parts should never be greased or oiled. Be sure to keep drawer and pull-out runners clean. In particular, remove crumbs and dirt particles immediately with a paintbrush or the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner. Dirt can prevent moving parts from working (correctly). Handles and knobs Remove any soiling immediately, if possible. In most cases, cleaning agents will not be needed. Soiling can usually be removed without difficulty using hand-hot water and a soft cloth. If necessary, an even better result can be obtained by adding a dash of washing-up liquid to the water. Do not use any caustic household cleaners and abrasive or scouring cleaners. Then wipe the surface of the handle until it is dry. Waxes, polishes and solvents must not be used to clean the surface of handles. When using microfibre cloths, please note the manufacturers instructions, as such cloths have very different surface textures which can damage the surface of the handles. Steam cleaners must not be used. PB.6 MTA - 09/2017

Remove drawer or pull-out (ArciTech champagne-coloured) The drawer / pull-out can be removed quickly and easily by first pulling it out completely and then lifting it straight up, holding either the handle or the front. A loud cracking noise will be heard when the drawer or pull-out is released from the runner. Install drawer or pull-out( ArciTech champagne-coloured) To install the drawer or pull-out, simply place it on the inserted runners and push it shut. At that moment, the drawer is automatically connected to the runners. When the drawer is then re-opened and closed with a dash, an audible clicking sound indicates that the drawer/pull-out is now in its final position. Release front drawer panel (ArciTech champagne-coloured) Tools are not required to release the front drawer panel. For this purpose, simultaneously pull the two release levers under the drawer frame towards you. The front panel is then released automatically. In the case of a tall pull-out, the railing or side element must first be removed. In the case of drawers over 600 mm wide, the eccentric at the front bottom must also be released. Attach front drawer panel (ArciTech champagne-coloured) The front panel is also fitted without tools. Position the front panel in front of and parallel to the drawer. The panel is then drawn in and an acoustic signal indicates that it has engaged correctly. Adjust drawer or pull-out front panel (ArciTech champagne-coloured) First remove the plastic cover caps from both sides. No tools are needed to do this. To adjust the front panel you will need a (Phillips) screwdriver. The height can be adjusted by +/- 2 mm with the aid of an eccentric screw. As soon as you hear a clicking noise, that means it has been adjusted. The side panels can be adjusted by +/- 1.5 mm by means of the appropriate screw on each side. Important: To ensure that the front panel joins line up correctly it is essential to ensure that the drawer panels are adjusted in parallel, i.e., by the same amount at both sides. Adjustment in opposite directions can lead to malfunctions and impaired running properties. Hook in / adjust front pull-out railing (ArciTech champagne-coloured) The square side railing of the pull-out drawer should first be hooked into and engaged in the top outer corner of the pull-out rear panel. Then push back the grey plastic cap (see picture) and click it into the front adapter provided. A thin screwdriver can be inserted into the front adjustable part of the railing to adjust the angle of the pull-out front and thus align the front correctly. Finally, push the grey sliding cover up against the front panel until it audibly engages. MTA - 09/2017 PB.7

Remove drawer or pull-out (protech titanium/oak) The drawer / pull-out can be removed quickly and easily by holding down both unlocking buttons at the same time and pulling the drawer / pull-out all the way out. Then pull the drawer/pull-out a little way forward on the runner and lift it up. Install drawer or pull-out (protech titanium/oak) To install the drawer or pull-out, simply place it on the extended runners and push it shut. As you do that, the drawer/pull-out is automatically connected to the runners. A clicking noise indicates that it has engaged with the runners. Release front drawer panel (protech titanium) Tools are not required to release the front drawer panel. Push the drawer side approx. 5 cm towards the back to release the catches. The catches must be pushed forward at both sides. Drawer = 1 catch on each side Pull-out = 2 catches on each side The catches remain in this position and the panel can be unhooked. Release front drawer panel (protech oak) Holes are located at the left and right sides on the undersides of the drawers. Insert a narrow screwdriver into the hole and carefully push upwards against the resistance. That releases the joint between the drawer and the front panel. Attach front drawer panel (protech titanium/oak) The front panel is also fitted without tools. Press down the catches and hook in the panel, parallel to the drawer/pull-out. Push the panel up against the drawer/pull-out, applying gentle pressure. The panel is then drawn in and an acoustic signal indicates that it has engaged correctly. Then close the sides. PB.8 MTA - 09/2017

Adjust drawer or pull-out front panel (protech titanium/oak) Height adjustment (protech titanium/oak) Press the unlocking button and hold it down. The horizontal knurled screw can be turned at the left and right rails mm / -1.0 mm Side adjustment (protech titanium/oak) Turn the vertical knurled screw at the left drawer/pull-out locking mechanism. +/- 1.5 mm Radial adjustment (protech titanium/oak) Pull out the drawer or pull-out and release it from the runners (see Remove drawer or pull-out ). Now pull the drawer/pull-out a little way forward on the runner and turn the plastic wheel which can be seen at the left runner. +/- 1.5 mm MTA - 09/2017 PB.9

Angle adjustment (protech titanium/oak) Pull out the drawer or pull-out and release it from the runners (see Remove drawer or pull-out ). Now pull the drawer/pull-out a little way forward on the runner and turn the plastic wheel which can be seen at the left and right runners mm / mm Unhook hinge Tools are not required to disassemble the hinge. Pull the locking lever at the end of the hinge and lift the hinge arm off the base plate. Hold the front securely while unhooking the hinge from the base plate. It is also advisable to release the bottom hinge first, then the top hinge. Hook in hinge Tools are not required to assemble the hinge. Place fixing web in the mount at the front of the base plate. Then place the hinge arm on the base plate and press lightly to engage it. When you hear a clicking noise, the hinge is securely attached. Hold the front securely while hooking the hinge into the base plate. It is also advisable to engage the top hinge first, then the bottom hinge. Lateral hinge adjustment The front adjusting screw on the hinge arm is used to adjust the side gaps of the front. Hinge depth adjustment The rear adjusting screw on the hinge arm is used to adjust the distance between the front and the carcase edge. PB.10 MTA - 09/2017

Activate hinge cushioning (Blumotion) The small sliding switch on the hinge cup must be pushed outwards to activate the cushioning mechanism. The cushioning bar then jumps forwards. Deactivate hinge cushioning (Blumotion) The small sliding switch on the hinge cup must be pushed inwards to deactivate the cushioning mechanism. When the door closes, the cushioning bar is pressed into the hinge cup and engages. It may be advantageous to deactivate one or more hinge cushioning mechanisms on a door in the case of smaller or lighter fronts. That optimizes the door cushioning and enables smooth closing.
