3 Computerized STEP Controls Our entire line of computerized STEP controls are easy to use with a menu driven program where all you need to do is make selections from the items listed on the menu. Any setpoint changes, calibrations, reconfigurations, etc. can easily be done. Every feature of each of our computers is designed and refined in response to the grower. Our controls are self-contained, needing no other computer to operate. The optional STEPsaver soft ware links the greenhouse computers to a personal computer for record keeping, monitoring or changes to any equipment settings. Also, when connected to the internet, we are able to provide remote technical support and training. Wadsworth's 52 years of experience and 18+ years in selling and supporting greenhouse computers are at your service. VersiSTEP Wadsworth s VersiSTEP is the newest product in our line of STEP controls. This fully integrated computer provides 24 outputs with multi-zone control. If your application calls for more than just the basic VersiSTEP, add the optional expansion unit and get 16 more controlled outputs without the cost of a second computer. (See next page.) Also combine the VersiSTEP with the EnviroSTEP and microstep/sa controls on a single network that economically puts control power where you need it in the greenhouse. The VersiSTEP s 24 relay outputs operate most any greenhouse equipment system. Heating, cooling, light level, CO 2 concentration and watering are all at your fingertips. 5 Computerized STEP Controls EnviroSTEP Wadsworth s EnviroSTEP is a fully integrated computer that controls a single zone. Growers with multiple greenhouses can combine EnviroSTEP, VersiSTEP and microstep/sa computers. With the EnviroSTEP s 12 outputs you can control the majority of equipment in your greenhouse. Control temperature, humidity, energy curtains, lighting, CO 2, irrigation, misting and fog. The EnviroSTEP is self-contained and does not need a Personal Computer to operate. The optional STEPsaver software program connects an EnviroSTEP to a PC allowing the grower to manage current conditions, monitor controls and make changes to the set points or address alarms from a remote location. 13 The WeatherGuard takes the worry out of wind, rain and snow. It is designed to override normal operations to close vents or retract shade systems when high winds, cold weather, rain or snow might cause damage. The WeatherGuard monitors: Wind speed Wind direction Outdoor temperature Precipitation Provides Protection: Windward vents close in high winds allowing leeward vents to stay open. 16 Vent Motors 3 - What type of vent control? I Incremental Opens in increments, closed, 1/4, 1/2 and full open. This is a master control. If placed in the center it can have six 2R units, 3 on each side. Primarily used with STEP50, STEP500, M-1608 or thermostats. It can be used with a computer control, like the EnviroSTEP and it will open in proportions. The computer overrides the Incremental control command. Growers who are upgrading to a computer control can use existing incremental vent controls, but if ordering a new vent automation system, order the LST control with computers.
