This, in turn, grants an excellent resistance to thermal and mechanical shocks, as well as an even temperature spread within each product. 5 T H E FA C TO R Y G L A Z I N G All components of our glazes are natural and match the norms of food compatibility. Our glazes are known for their shine and high resistance to scratches, cracks and all damages. They make cleaning easy. F I R I N G APPOLIA products are fired ONCE only at 1130 C. Hence the specific quality of the paste: low porosity (below 3%) and a high mechanical and thermal (250 C) resistance. Its white color allows APPOLIA to apply a large pallet of glazes. G L A Z I N G BY A P P O L I A The enamels we choose are carefully selected and meet all food safety standards. Natural minerals are mixed with powdered crushed glass, following our own recipe. All APPOLIA products are made of our own selection of raw material.
