However, you should always check the technical details, as not all products sold in New Zealand are capable of handling all pressures. Ceramic temperature-adjustable cartridges Selected ethven single-lever mixers are fitted with temperature-adjustable ceramic discs, allowing the user to set the maximum temperature of water. This is an excellent safety feature that protects your family from scalding. Ceramic temperature and flow-adjustable cartridges These ceramic discs allow the maximum water flow and temperature to be set for single-lever mixers. This is a clever feature that helps users to regulate their water usage and can reduce wastage. Every day in every way, sustainability is a primary focus in the products we develop and the way we go about our business. In keeping with our commitment to sustainability, ethven actively supports the following three national initiatives: wels Water is an increasingly precious resource. The New Zealand government s Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme (WELS) aims to facilitate water conservation by helping consumers to make informed choices about their chosen product s water efficiency. WELS came into effect in New Zealand in pril 2010 and will become mandatory over the next three years.* WELS rating provides an average flow rate for a product when tested at various pressures. The rating is displayed with a number of stars, which increase with the product s water-efficiency. The WELS label displays two key pieces of information: a star rating indicating relative water efficiency hoestr rting and a water consumption or water flow figure. WELS labels will also indicate the pressure applicable for showers and taps in New Zealand - mains pressure and/or low/ unequal pressure. ll ethven products suitable for all pressure installations will carry two labels.
