In line with our customers increasing needs, we have continually developped our sealings further. In addition to perfect operation and ease of installation, it is increasingly important to take energy-saving requirements into account when developing refrigerator seals. Here, the seal plays a key role in achieving energy efficiency classes, as it forms the interface between the door and the body of the appliance. Whatever your objective, our development engineers will offer you a solution that is tailor-made for your specific installation situation, using the latest methods, such as thermal and mechanical simulations (FEM), even at the development stage. We offer seals that do not contain plasticisers and are not made of PVC (LOW MIG), particularly for use in the commercial sector. What s more, closed systems result in a notable improvement in food quality and a reduced formation of bacteria. Rising energy costs and climate protection concerns therefore result in a trend towards fitting open appliances with glass cover systems. However, the glass covers must be attractively designed so that they do not form a barrier between buyer and product. With this in mind, REHAU supports well-known system providers with intelligent profile and sealing systems that combine a high level of functionality with an appealing design and good energy efficiency while also providing the maximum display area. More than 2,000 employees work for REHAU here. Vancouver is the company group s westernmost location. Celaya A good 250 kilometers from Mexico City is Celaya, the third largest city in the state of Guanajuato and home to a REHAU plant, administration and sales office since Here, more than 250 employees produce polymer profiles for the automotive, appliance and furniture industries of North and South America. Buenos Aires is the political, industrial and cultural heart of Argentina. Since 1994 there has been a sales office there with a production facility attached for edgebands as well as the fabrication of window profiles. Montreal In 1961 REHAU opened its first plant on the North American continent. Leesburg The REHAU headquarters for the Americas has had its home in the state of Virginia since Ross on Wye Since 1995, REHAU s administration for the regions of Great Britain and Scandinavia has been located in Ross-on-Wye, south of Birmingham. The historical manor house is known by the name Hill Court far beyond the borders of the county of Herefordshire. Morhange An over 12,000 square meter former military base is home to the administrative headquarters for France and Western Europe. The location has some 300 employees. Muri Since the 1960s Muri near Bern has been the location for the administrative center of the REHAU Group. It is also home to the group s headquarters for global material handling and logistics. At the beginning of this success story, in the early 50s, there were a grand total of just three locations in Germany and Austria. Gshel Since 2005, REHAU has been producing window profiles in this town near Moscow for the Russian market, in which our company has become the market leader within just a few years. Taicang This REHAU plant in China is 48 kilometers northwest of Shanghai. Here, production mainly includes window profiles and edgebands for the furniture industry. REHAU is represented at a total of eight Chinese locations. Dubai Sales and distribution activities for the Middle East are managed from our location in the United Arab Emirates. Pune The Indian plant location and the two sales offices in Mumbai and Bangalore give us access to one of the most populous countries in the world. Singapore The smallest island state in Southeast Asia has been the location for REHAU s headquarters for Asia and Australia since Jakarta REHAU location in the Indonesian metropolis that will become a megacity by Port Elizabeth In 2009 REHAU opened its southernmost plant on the African continent. Here and in the Fort Jackson plant located a good 280 kilometers away, system components used in vehicles on the Asian and American markets are manufactured for the VW Group and Daimler.
