Potentially hazardous situation which could result in death or serious injury. Notes for installation When cutting the hose, make sure that the end of the hose is perpendicular. Make certain that the hose has been fully inserted into the connector. Warning:Tighten the nut fully so there will be no gap in between in order to prevent the hose from being pulled out, and fluids being leaked. If TOYOCONNECTOR-F are used with a gap in between, trouble will occur due to hoses being pulled out. Do not damage the surface of nipples with blades and other items. After installing TOYOCONNECOTR-F, confirm that fluids do not leak from the connectors before use. For fastening, use a motor wench. Do not use a pipe wrench because it will damage the components. Notes for use TOYOCONNECTOR-F are designed especially for use of our TOYOSILICONE Hose and TOYOSILICONE-S Hose. Do not use TOYOCONNECTOR-F with other TOYOX Hoses, or other companies' hoses. No guarantee will be provided for TOYOCONNECTOR-F that are connected with other companies' hoses because the performance of such TOYOCONNECTOR-F may not be fully performed or maintained. Use TOYOCONNECTOR-F within their working temperature and working pressure ranges. Do not use TOYOSILICONE Hoses under negative pressure. For use under negative pressure, please use TOYOSILICONE-S Hoses. TOYOCONNECTOR-F may not be applicable for use under a negative pressure depending on the use and conditions ( such as temperature and movement ). Take caution when using for electric discharge/plasma, evaporation because additives may be discharged from our hoses.refer to the "Vacuum Pressure Reference Range" for a guide of the negative pressure working range. ( P31 Fig. 1 ) When inserting TOYOCONNECTOR-F into hoses, never put grease on the surface of the nipples. It would be a cause of hose being pulled out. When using TOYOCONNETOR-F, do not bend hoses sharply near the connectors because the inner tube may rupture. Warning:Do not assemble or disassemble the connector while fluid is in the hose because the hose may become loose and the liquid will leak. When using TOYOCONNECTOR-F for drinking water or food, place the hoses and the connectors so that they will not submerge in drinking water or food fluids in the tanks because the fluids may stay inside the connectors, and bacteria may propagate ( attach to the parts ). Warning:Never use TOYOCONNECTOR-F for the below applications. Hoses may rupture or become loose. For piping such as electromagnetic valve piping, which would put impact pressure on the piping. Where vibration or impact will be applied to the connector Where the maximum temperature may exceed 140 C Where constant tensile stress may be applied to the hoses In a way that may cause static buildup Before using TOYOCONNECTOR-F, make certain to sterilize and disinfect inside the hoses. ( The hoses do not go through sterilization procedures before shipping. ) When cleaning TOYOCONNECTOR-F, do not rub their surfaces with a hard brush or other things because doing so may damage the surfaces, and bacteria may propagate ( attach to the parts ). Notes for storage Please store TOYOCONNECTOR-F at low temperature and humidity. Make certain that foreign matter will not get into the connectors when stored. Notes for the replacement of hoses and connectors Make certain to use new TOYOSILICONE Hoses or TOYOSILICONE-S Hoses. Adjust the length of hoses so the hoses will not be pulled too tightly. When replacing hoses, do not damage nipples with a cutter or other items because doing so will be a cause of fluid leakage. When sleeves or PVDF screws are cracked, broken, deformed, or discolored, replace them immediately with new ones. Otherwise their performance may be impaired, e.g. they may not be able to withstand their working pressure. Notes for disposal To dispose of the metal parts of the connector, please follow local regulations for separate disposal. The resin parts ( sleeves and PVDF screws ) of the connector will emit toxic gas when burned, so never burn the resin parts, and handle them as industrial waste.
