2 SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE AUCTION SALE ON: THURSDAY 22 ND JUNE 11.00AM VIEWING: WEDNESDAY 21 ST JUNE FROM 09H00 TO 16H00 Marimba Restaurant, CTICC, Walter Sisulu Avenue, Cape Town AUCTIONEER: STEF OLIVIER 1. DEPOSIT R5 000,00 (Five Thousand Rand) refundable deposit and Identity Document upon registration: CREDIT CARD (Master / Visa Only), BANK GUARANTEED CHEQUE OR EFT. ALL BANK GUARANTEED CHEQUES MUST BE MADE OUT TO BIDWAY NO CASH will be accepted on site. Cash payments are to be paid directly into Bidway s bank account. BIDWAY AUCTION HOUSE FNB A/C: B/C: Buyers must present printed proof of payments made by EFT, internet banking payment or any other form of electronic payment including cash deposits. Balance of payment is strictly by EFT or bank guaranteed cheque only. Reference: Surname and Initials / Company Name / Invoice Number A 1% cash handling fee will be charged on all cash payments. (All cash to be paid into Bidway s bank account) NO RECEIPTS WILL BE ISSUED UNLESS THE PAYMENT REFLECTS IN BIDWAY S BANK ACCOUNT. NO cheques may be deposited into our bank account as a 7-10 day waiting period will be enforced. 2. VAT VAT of 14% will be charged on all items. All bids exclude VAT, which will be added to the buyer s invoice. 3. PAYMENT All purchases are to be paid in full by 15h00 on the day of the sale, strictly by bank guaranteed cheque or EFT only. If the sale is cancelled after the lot has been knocked down, the registration deposit fee will be forfeited. 4. STANDARD CONDITIONS OF SALE Please refer to our standard conditions of sale on your buyer s card. 5. DESPATCHING Due to security constraints, there will be no despatching of goods during the auction. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Buyers must supply their own transport and labour for collections DESPATCHING TIMES For all movables: Thursday 22 June after completion of the auction until 16:00 Friday 23 June from 9:00 15:30 For all fixtures: Monday 26 June from 9:00 16:00 Tuesday 27 June from 9:00 16:00 Buyers need to take careful consideration on the removal of the fixtures and fittings, buyers will be held liable for any damages made to the premise by removing these items. Electrical and plumbing points need to be disconnected by a professional contractor,who will also be held liable for any damages occurred during removal. 6. BUYERS PREMIUM A BUYERS PREMIUM OF 15% (FIFTEEN PERCENT) (EXCLUDING VAT) WILL BE LEVIED ON ALL SMALLS PURCHASED. 7. FICA REQUIREMENTS All bidders must provide the following FICA documentation upon registration at the auction Private / Personal Buyer: Original Identity Document or Passport (not a driver s licence) Original proof of address (an account not older than 3months) Business Buyer: Vat Registration Certificate CK Document (Cipro Certificate) / Original ID of the owners of the business Original proof of address (an account not older than 3 months) 8. GENERAL THE PURCHASER SHALL BE BOUND BY ALL ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE BY THE AUCTIONEER AT THE COMMENCEMENT OF AND DURING THE SALE, REGARDLESS IF HE IS PRESENT AT THE TIME OF SUCH ANNOUNCEMENTS BEING MADE. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD VOETSTOOTS. NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES ARE GIVEN OR IMPLIED. BIDWAY CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ERRORS OF DESCRIPTION. THE HIGHEST ACCEPTED BIDDER SHALL BE THE PURCHASER, IF ACCEPTED BY THE AUCTIONEER. THE AUCTIONEER HAS THE RIGHT TO REGULATE THE BIDDING. THE AUCTIONEERS DECISION IS FINAL. IN CASE OF AN UNSATISFIED PRICE, THE AUCTIONEER HAS THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW THE ARTICLE OR REFUSE TO SELL IT TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER WITHOUT GIVING ANY REASON.
