Emulsion Plants & SBS Systems CEI s fully-automated emulsion blending plants are capable of producing both anionic and cationic emulsions at a production rate of up to 80 tons per hour. This allows contractors to keep up with ever-changing modified asphalt markets and keeps them on the cutting edge of technology. Our SBS polymer blending systems mix finely-sheared SBS polymer with liquid asphalt to produce polymermodified asphalt binder. Heavy Fuel Preheaters CEI heavy fuel preheaters are made to heat heavy fuel as it flows to a burner. Typical applications include burners of aggregate dryers used at hot mix asphalt plants. Preheating the fuel lowers its viscosity so that it can be properly atomized by the burner. Vent Condensers Vent condensers capture fumes from asphalt storage tanks, re-liquefy them, and return the liquid asphalt to the tank. This reduces plant emissions, keeping your plant within state and local specs. Available options include our extreme-duty vent condensers, with active cooling systems to further reduce emissions. 11
