2 Terms & Conditions Inquiries & Orders Inquiries are best answered by your Jeffco distributor, but Jeffco customer service also stands ready to answer questions and provide additional information as needed. Call tollfree. ORDERS are best placed by your Jeffco distributor, and all pertinent information such as item numbers, descriptions, quantities, colors, optional features, shipping instructions, addresses, phone numbers, and addresses should be known and specified at the time of order placement. Order Acknowledgements Order acknowledgments are promptly ed or faxed to the distributor and it is his responsibility to review the order and insure accuracy regarding items, product descriptions, quantities, & colors. The acknowledgement will indicate the planned or scheduled shipping date. While Jeffco makes every effort to maintain the scheduled date, it cannot be guaranteed and the company assumes no liability for damages should an order be late. Terms of Sale While prices are subject to change from time to time, the unit prices billed to the distributor will be those that were in effect at the time the order was placed. Payment terms are specified on the sales order and subsequent invoice, and payment within terms is required. All Jeffco prices are F.O.B. the factory, and all sales are final. Color Selections Jeffco seating is manufactured in Black, Charcoal, Chocolate, and Camel upholstery. Jeffco cabinetry is manufactured in Black, Brightton Walnut, Wild Cherry, Fusion Maple. Custom colors are available and can be special-ordered, taking longer and costing more. The imported items are normally available only as depcited. Shipping and Handling Jeffco salon equipment is packaged for safe shipment directly to the dsitributor or salon. Some orders are shipped via UPS or private carrier, but most orders are shipped via common carrier truck-line, F.O.B. our factory. While freight damage is not a frequent occurrence, no shipment is immune to the risk of loss or damage. It is the sole responsibility of the consignee to inspect the shipment for damage upon receipt and clearly note any damage on the delivering carrier s bill-of-lading. Freight carriers have very limited responsibility for damage that is not promptly reported or noted on the bill-of-lading, and failure to do this adversely affects any subsequent claims that may be filed. About Jeffco Installation Jeffco equipment is designed for easy assembly and/or installation. Instructions and the typically needed fasteners are included, but Jeffco also recommends that all plumbing & electrical work be done by reputable and licensed professionals who are familiar with the local building codes. Jeffco Product Warranties Jeffo salon equipment is guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship as follows: Shampoo Bowls: Jeffco bowls and faucets are warrante for two years from the shipping date. Vacuum breakers are warranted for 1 year from the shipping date. Hair Dryers: Jeffco's J316, J316t, and J316X Dryers are warranted for 2 years from date of shipment from factory. All other dryers & processors are warranted for 1 year. Hydraulic Bases: Jeffco's T and T5 Hydraulic Bases are warranted for 5 years from date of shipment. Jeffco's G Base and the Barber chair bases and are warranted for 1 year from the date of shipment. Salon Chairs: Jeffco's chair upholstery and components are warranted for 1 year form the date of shipment. Salon Cabinetry: Jeffco's salon cabinetry is warranted for 1 year form the date of shipment. This guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and does not apply to damage caused by water or fire, discoloration, fading, or staining of fabrics or laminates, or where there is evidence of improper plumbing or installation, tampering, mishandling, abuse, or misuse of the equipment. The company recommends that all plumbing and electrical work be done by reputable and licensed professionals who are familiar with local codes. Customer Returns Jeffco warrants the salon equipment against defects, packages for shafe shipment, and makes every effort to assure customer satisfaction. In some cases, Jeffco may elect or require that a product be returned to the factory. In that case, Jeffco will issue a Return Authorization Number which must be clearly marked on the carton. Unauthorized customer returns will be refused and returned to the sender. Jeffco was established in 1965 by Red Harrison in Advance, North Carolina. Mr. Harrison's passion for quality and innovation led to Jeffco's becoming a successful and respected player in salon equipment. That Jeffco tradition continued for many years under the leadership of Red's son, Jeff Harrison. Desirous of perpetuating the company's rich history, Jeff joined Jeffco's assets and capabilities with those of Collins Manufacturing Company in Jeffco now opeates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins.
