4 order information ORDERS, RETURNS, & LEASE FINANCING SPECIAL ORDER EQUIPMENT Select equipment is available with additional options or in other colors as a special order. Please note that these special orders may require additional delivery time depending on the item and manufacturer. Special orders are priced separately, and may not be RETURNED, EXCHANGED OR REFUNDED. Changes to the order may be made if they are requested prior to the start of production. Please allow 2-12 weeks for receipt of special order equipment. PRODUCT/ORDER INSPECTION Customers are responsible for inspecting all product deliveries in a timely manner, and must report any damages (visible or hidden) or missing pieces to Armstrong McCall within 15 days of receipt. After 15 days, Armstrong McCall may not be held responsible for replacement of damaged items. REQUEST FOR RETURNS Requests for returns must be approved in advance and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No RETURNS, EXCHANGES or REFUNDS will be made on equipment after 0 days from date of purchase. Returned equipment must be in new condition and shipped in original carton. * Custom-order equipment is non-returnable. FREIGHT CARRIERS 1. UPS: SMALL SHIPMENTS (Normally three items or less, depending on items) They will do multi-level inside delivery. They will not call prior to delivery for an appointment. They will make 3 attempts to deliver before returning to the shipper. Deliveries made to residential areas. Items may be left at next door neighbor s house or on premise without signature. Deliveries made to business areas. Items may be returned to shipper if location is vacant or under construction. If business location is a new salon, we suggest having deliveries made to alternate business or residential location. This information should be provided at time of purchase. 2. YELLOW FREIGHT LARGE SHIPMENTS (COMMON CARRIERS) (Normally 4 items or more, depending on the items) They will do ground level inside delivery only. They will call prior to delivery for an appointment. Redelivery or reconsignment fees may apply if appointment is missed or original delivery is changed. Please inspect your delivery carefully. Any damages or shortages must be noted on the freight bill before signing for shipment. Depending on quantity of cartons or size of items, customer-provided assistance may be required upon delivery.
