PROBLEMS OF MICRO-ORGANISM IN INDUSTRIAL PROCESSING In many industrial processes or clean rooms it is necessary to maintain certain areas at low organism population as possible. 2 THE SOLUTION Research has discovered a practical answer to the problem of airborne micro-organism in processing plants and clean room areas. A Imtech DryGenic unit is primarily a dehumidification system, which operates simultaneously as an air washer or scrubber. All the dehumidifying systems of Imtech DryGenic are based on the drying properties of a liquid hygroscopic solution, called DrySol. 3 TESTS An extensive research program was done on mentioned characteristics of the Imtech DryGenic in the US in collaboration with the Research Foundation of Toledo University. Below is one of the test reports, which clearly shows the germicidal action of the installation. The germicidal action is measured by the Six Plate Anderson Sampling Technique for normal atmospheric organisms, while the NBS Dust Spot Method is used for measuring the dust-collecting efficiency.
