16 Conclusions Stage I Target groups requiring information-educational action were determined. topic and scope of educational materials were identified. A reduction in the number of fires from to 8000 within the next 5 years, and hence reduction in fire losses about %. Strategy to deliver educational actions for young people and identified occupational groups.
17 Stage II Conclusions The 2nd stage involves: undertaking educational and preventive actions, aimed at reducing fire losses. campaigns and different training actions directed at local communities. The targets of this action are: pre-school children and early-school, secondary school pupils, occupants of multi-occupied and single-family buildings, administrators ato s and owners of flats.
18 Conclusions Stage III Evaluation of action will be carried out through: the current analysis of statistical data and analysis of questionnaire forms (pre and post). To set up info line. Directed action to address other defined threats. Constant monitoring of the achievement of the goals.
19 Actions 1. Placing educational presentations ti and other educational materials on websites of county/town fire services and Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Poznan 2. Preparing educational booklets and leaflets, and distributing them. 3. Getting involved local media. 4. Joining in educational actions: Safe holidays, Safe Christmas and the New Year's Eve, Carbon monoxide quiet murderer, Smoke alarm in every home. 5. Organising Safety week in school seting up meetings with children and young people. p 6. Organisation the educational days for children and young people Adventure in the fire service station. 7. Participation in local festivals, e.g. celebrating the International Children Day preparing educational materials and handouts for parents and children (graphic puzzles, crosswords) and other activities. 8. Launching at primary schools the educational programme Safe life.
