Auction Preview begins at 5PM and the Silent Auction is scheduled to end at 7PM. Concessions will be available for purchase and all proceeds will benefit class trips. Community support is imperative in order for this auction to be successful. We appreciate your support and generosity.

Athletes should dress appropriately. Pizza, Chips, Bottled Water, and Cake will also be served. All wrestlers and families are encouraged to attend Yearbooks are on sale now for $12 each! Payment is due when you place your order. Order forms can be found in the office or on the MMS website. Turn payment and order form in to the main office by May 6. Only a limited number of yearbooks will be available for purchase. First come, first serve! Yearbooks will be here approximately the 1 st week in June

4 CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) Protect yourself and your family from carbon monoxide poisoning Carbon monoxide, or CO, is a dangerous gas that you cannot see, smell or taste. Carbon monoxide can be deadly. By knowing more about CO, you can protect yourself and your family from CO poisoning. Sources of carbon monoxide CO can come from anything that burns fuels, especially if it is not used or vented in the right way. Examples include: Furnaces Wood stoves Kerosene heaters Generators Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning CO poisoning can feel like the flu without a fever, but in a very short amount of time it can become very serious. CO can cause: Headache Dizziness Fatigue Shortness of breath Gas-powered home appliances Gas-powered tools Gas and charcoal grills Cars and trucks Nausea Vomiting Passing out Death If you think you have been exposed to carbon monoxide: Get yourself and others to fresh air immediately Call 911 or your local fire department Call the Northern New England Poison Center at Return to the area only after the fi re department tells you it is safe To learn more about carbon monoxide poisoning and to get information about CO alarms: Call Visit Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Environmental and Occupation Health Programs How to prevent CO poisoning Place CO alarms close to all sleeping areas in your home, and change the batteries each time you change your clock for daylight savings time. Never ignore a carbon monoxide alarm. Have appliances, furnaces and heating systems installed and maintained by a professional. Check and clean your chimney at least once every year. Leave cars, snowmobiles and other vehicles running only if they are outside of your garage. Use kerosene heaters only when room doors are open and windows are open at least one inch. Run generators outside and away from windows, doors and vents. Burn charcoal in open, outdoor areas away from your home, cabin, garage, or other enclosed areas such as porches or tents. Use pressure washers, chainsaws and other gas-powered tools outside of your home, garage or other enclosed areas such as barns or sheds. Caring..Responsive..Well-Managed. We are DHHS. Course descriptions and registration information available on our web portal any time at Crossbow Safety with the Department or Inland Fisheries and Wildlife This is a required course for anyone applying for a crossbow hunting license. It covers the history of crossbows, responsibility and ethics, shooting and handling, laws and safety, and special concerns. A test will be administered and certification awarded. Class meets Monday, 3/28 from 5:30 9:00 pm at Medomak Valley High School, Waldoboro. Fee: $10. Backyard Laying Hens with Sarah Ruef-Lindquist Have you ever wanted to have chickens on your property? In many cities and towns homeowners have added small flocks to their yards and gardens as part of the movement toward local food and sustainable living. Topics will cover local ordinances, buying and raising chicks, coop size and design, health and safety, food and water, flock behavior and equipment. Class meets Wednesday, 3/30 from 6:00 8:00 pm at Medomak Valley High School, Waldoboro. Fee: $24. Curtain Call Recipes with Virginia Hill This delicious course can be served up two ways: you can either take the entire four-week course at a reduced rate or take only the sessions that whet your appetite!
